Monster collision ruins the druid.

I cannot speak for the other forms/caster variants of the druid, as I've been bear from start to mapping. The druid is strong and was easy to level, no complaints there.
BUT, i guess its 50% the Bear's massive hitbox, and just the general issues with monster collision overall, since even Pounce the wolf skill feels terrible to use. I am using it, because sometimes it does what i want, but It's a dash, not a leap slam which feels TERRIBLE. You get stuck on anything and everything, i have the skill to quickly get in the middle of a pack, but 90% of the time get stuck on the first monster/tiny chest/ground clutter rock in my way. Same goes for Rampage the bear skill, it's a REALLY cool skill on paper, but again you get stuck on ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING, and it having the same movement as your sprint also doesn't help. 70%~ of Maps and Zones are tight corridors, and your massive bear Rampage will not go through ANYTHING, the tiniest monster WILL block you and cause you to automatically try to path AROUND it, but what if you cant? Your skill will just end, full stop, and its a channeled ability so you'll just stand there looking dumb in the startup animation of the skill again. Even the load screen tips says Large enemies will push you around if you get in their way. but this MASSIVE bear form in full Rampage will get stuck on 3 regular bug type enemies. With these issues, in hindsight, i regret playing druid. With these ^ "issues" "fixed" i wouldnt feel this way, the class would be amazing. Last bumped on Dec 14, 2025, 1:04:21 PM

And don't even get me started on the Vaal Ruins, it is only tight corridors and jam packed rooms with zero space to fight, i already hate doing them as the bear, and heavily contemplating skipping doing it forever, which is a shame.

Every class and every thing gets stuck on everything, it's a fucking mess.

Lol, yeah you can outright get stuck in geometry and not be able to get out unless you use the pounce or wingbeat abilities. And it was pretty ridiculous how wyvern's big wide melee hit can miss enemies on slightly different elevation or behind cover while at the same time I encountered enemies able to hit you through walls.

The same issue here. Most of the time I Pounce, I got stuck on something. It's easy to die because of that. I just got to the endgame and it's too bad to ignore.
I play wyvern and environmental decorations are wild ... you stuck on pots, benches, tables and other decorations. Why we cannot destroy it. Holten estate and other narrow maps are nightmare for a druid. Adding a option to destroy them would be a big win ... we could move through them and it would add a good feeling to the gameplay. Hitting enemies with skills also suffers from it. |
