Remove the paths in temple of the vaal please

If you get a path and it's useless, it feels bad that it took a spot. If you get a path that you can use, it still feels bad because they could have been something that's a reward.

Worst of all, when you enter, not connected rooms make the temple awkward to navigate and it's also not particularly clear in the map which rooms are not connected.

Can we just please auto-connect rooms in adjacent tiles? I understand that in PoE1 the connections are an important element to the game, but there's two key differences here:
* In PoE1 99% of the time you don't sacrifice space for rooms for space for connections (you could argue about the explosive room, yes).
* In PoE1 you get much more control about how connections happen.

I think removing connections and emphasizing rooms interacting with adjacent rooms would be cool. Like have generators affect the four squares adjacent and boost all room types by one tier. Idk paths and closed off rooms just feel weird on a UX angle because it’s extremely inconsistent on how placing them works.
Yes, great idea. Then we can hear people whine about how much the temple sucks when you have to clear 30 individual rooms!
I like the paths. It makes the temple feel congruent.
+1

I really don't see the purpose paths serve other than friction for fictions sake. Just let rooms connect
