Dont bother playing if you dont play in a group

Playing solo is just not even plausible in this games current state they have somehow messed up rarity yet again making group play drop absurdly more currency. IDK what they did but just running a full group drops more loot per person in one map than spending 5+ hrs solo mapping it should not be this way.

So were punished for not wanting to play in groups when the visual clarity of this game is a joke past 2 people sigh guess its off to poe1 again.

Funny, gotten a ton of currency this league solo... with no rarity gear on (I did have like 12% for a little bit because the ring I picked up off the ground had stats I needed and that little rarity). Current build is easily in the 100-200 div range, with no rarity gear, no focused farming, no group play.

You do realize that groups drop lots of currency, and then need to split said currency 6+ ways... right? You also know that the HIGHLIGHT reels you see posted online are... HIGHLIGHTS.

It's always been that way. Group play vs solo play reward balance has always been horrible. Solo players are lucky to drop a div every 1 to 3 maps, while group players are dropping 10+ divs per map. It's wildly imbalanced and is really bad for the game, but they completely ignore it. It's never talked about, never addressed.

Spend 5 minutes watching group play streamers on Twitch, and you'll realize you are completely wrong. They literally drop 10+ divs every single map, and that's only raw divine orb drops. They are also getting TONS of chaos, exalts, abyss currency, etc.

I said 1 to 3 maps, and I'm talking juiced maps with high rarity, monster effectiveness, delirium, abyss, etc.

It's a tough spot, but the main problem is Gravebind unique. The current nerf on rarity hit solo players hard, but due to gravebind and group play, it placed a huge gap between solo and group, not to ignore that the word on the street is that group play has more drop chance.

This league was tainted from the start with abyss tablet bug which allow that thousands of high tier currency were inserted into the market in the first days. The trade league is going to loose people very fast once people get into mid tier gear range due to inflation, or maybe not...

I dont watch streams, I do watch a few youtube videos from a select few streamers which I consier impartial and community focused (community focused vs farming engagement).

For me, also as a solo player, Gravebind provides a too much powerful gap, if it was up to me, it should be removed from the game.

Then on the trade league, everyone is kinda needed... And this is the most interesting part of PoE2...

- whales are needed to pay for development, and they require liquidity as such they need top farmers for gear, they also require a very stable economy.
- timmmies are required for constant short term revenue and to buy items
- chads are needed to provide liquidity in the market for timmies and whales

It's an interesting ecosystem, the worst possible to happen is having 4 days of free farm advertised publically on youtube and then patched without a rollback. This gave a small minority a huge advance, allowed to manipulate the market since the first days and inflated the economy a lot.

GGG seems not to care... I wouldnt be happy if I was a whale that such thing passed blank :)
I wish they would just buff SSF. The market is just trash within a couple of days each league.
