Degen on Abyss is game ruining for melee

abyss degen is insanely strong and because it stops regen theres basically no way to handle it on a melee build. POE2 is really in a bad state right now and I am not optimistic it gets better if you can't even address an obviously stupid mechanic like this. All last league people commented about the abyss degen and the only response was to SLIGHTLY lower the dmg.
I don't know how many times the community needs to say this, but there should be no modifiers that have no defensive counter at all. Abyss monsters should stop regen, or do damage, not both. Last bumped on Dec 21, 2025, 6:07:36 PM

" Most of the dangerous mechanics in poe2 have no defensive counter. It is the theme, they have to get the game to a place where defense feels more important. There are a few very niche ways to get defense in this game but outside of those niches you need to just 1 shot the screen to guarantee survival. |
