Feedback on Skittering Stones

Hello,

Skittering Stones support gem functions by killing at least 5 enemies to spawn these skittering stone minions. However, I believe it would be more fun if spawning them was tied to something other than killing units.

As it stands, it is already very niche and difficult to use, and when it does proc the minions aren't particularly amazing. However, if the spawning of the minions was tied to interacting with the earthen objects (Earthshatter, Shieldwall) I think the support gem would feel a lot more fun to use and enable interesting builds.

To that effect, I suggest either allowing us to proc it by destroying enough of the earthen objects at once or by changing the support gem to consume the earthen object to summon the skittering stones directly. Essentially transforming the skill from whatever it's normal purpose would be to instead summon these neat little stony minions.

Alternatively, introducing skitering stones as "Mace" Skill but giving it no weapon requirement, sort of similar to warcries being usable on anyone regardless of weapon. Perhaps even turning Skittering Stones into a warcry itself in addition to having the minion or companion tag so that players can experiment and try different things with it.

For context, I quite enjoy playing mace skills as any base class and consider skittering stones a potentially intriguing addition to an 'Earth Caster' type of build. Skills like Shield Wall, Earth Shatter, Earthquake, and Iron Ward all help support this playstyle fantasy.

To that end, making skittering stones more usable would be nice for expanding current Earthy options.

I think the duration limit is what makes the it bad. It turns your game into a rushed night shift job simulator, which is an ironic truth for 99% of what GGG develops.
