Advice: never play freeze buildup builds in endgame

While builds based on freeze is fun early on they are trash in the endgame because bosses have so much hp and ailment threshold so that it you can't reliably froze them and kill in time util boss will oneshot you. It is not worth in terms of time and effort(expecially for melee).

Example: tried to kill iron citadel boss 3 times on (3rd boss lvl difficulty) but after running around and dodging for 5 mins - eventually get killed. And than i watched how my friend killed him using CoC commet build in 30 seconds on the same difficulty).

So if your main damage window is during freeze - don't use it for hard content.
