We're in Lira Vaal

I'm in Lira Vaal. The seat of Atziri and unimaginable wealth. Wealth, treasures and riches that not only disrupt the economy but the landscape. We are pillaging the Fulcrum, the Apex. I love this league.

Whoever made this % effect increase decision is unbelievably intelligent and I feel the lore is alive.

(I know it will be toned down next league but for now it's perfect.)

This made me laugh. And, yes, I agree. The temple has great atmosphere.

It makes perfect sense. Ridicule is the death of wonder and most people don't understand the league.

The game has its issues constantly being improved but the temple is excellent, we are robbing the richest house in history.
I like the temple mechanic. I find it nicely designed and a bit more in depth than what we're use to.

It's a bit rippy tough, i'll prob die a lot in it =)
But very rewarding if you can face the challenge.

Sad to read all the post/comments about it.

The only crucial element missing from the temple concept is "Samael." The architect is very close to the "Demiurgos" but the Atziri lore needs an ancient cult like Samael to deepen the plot, because the "Beast" cannot be found without the presence of fire.

it's a lore accurate buff, I think it's very cool
Mechanically, temple is great.

Economically, temple has completely screwed over players not optimizing it to the point it takes the fun out of the league. Ordinary maps, the bulk of the content you run, are simply not rewarding and any hope you have of making currency rely on strats outside of that content such as Sekhema trials, aspirational boss farm, anomaly maps, etc.

I want it to survive and be added core in 0.5.0, but it needs nuclear scale nerfs.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

I like Temple Run, but the Holten bug has completely made the game economy unplayable. Shame

The new changes to temple are good but the way they implemented it and changed core mechanics forcing everyone to rebuild was brutal and disrespectful.
As they said it will force more building variety and the upgrade + lock medallion combo progression adds a bit of a challenge when it comes to reaching room counts that grant juicier loot. Instead of just placing tiles on whatever lights up green.

The people suffering the most now are those with "legacy" temples who don't use any Smithy and Golem rooms, those rooms give lots of +1 upgrade medallions.

It was a necessary "evil" that made Temple better mechanically, but still messed up.
