What's wrong with citadel bosses?

Why i always got one shot from citadel bosses? 3k hp, 86% armor /90% elemental from hit, max elemental/chaos resist, 200% armor against crit, are not good enough?

86% armour sounds like you dont have that much


Also depends on the map mods of these as well

I don't know. I haven't died to even one of them this league. Maybe tone down the boss difficulty on the atlas, watch what mods you have on the waystone and learn the mechanics?

I have no problem wiping the floor with all the citadel bosses, maxed out atlas, and fully juiced t16 and waystones, but when it comes to the iron citadel I've failed everyone. Something about almost every ability one shoting you regardless of defenses that just screams the devs don't play their own game.

Smith of kitava has often >83% or even 90% but sitting at 15.000 armour
Titan in contrast with high rare body armour has 38.000-50.000 armour.

Time to switch from budget smith to Titan Asc.

Edit: yes citadel often inflict ignite same as in delirum. crazy 4.000 HP single hit.

Iron citadel boss with maxed boss atlas is SO overtuned. I have maybe a 20% success rate,failed 2 today not doing anymore. I concur GGG does not play their game...

Very strongly suggest you look at waystone modifiers. Anything effecting your resistance, and critical hit chance on you is a death sentence regardless of your gear.

tried stone citadel once, got one-shot again.
No crit, just -14% res, mobs fire 2 addtional projects, 20% attact speed.

one shoted again by iron citadel boss. Nothing dangerous map mods, Any hit/aoe attack can one shot me except normal attack. meanwhile i can easily do T3 simulacrum and most pinnacle bosses (except arbitor because i was not able to get fragments from these damn citadels)
