Path of exile 1 keepers feedback.

I want to be clear while I love this game I think the design choices are destroying the game I've played for years.
I think this was intentionally done to encourage people to play poe2 which is a terrible decision. We had almost no buffs to loot regardless of this being the worst league retention ever. There was almost 0 effort after league launch in updating the game to an enjoyable state.

It would have taken just a little bit of buffs on the league mechanic in maps to make it feel worth doing and more people would still play. I don't care for poe2 extremely slow movement so it feels punishing to nerf poe1 to encourage people to play the 2nd game when they feel different already. The zoom zoom and loot explosions of poe1 have been what kept me playing the past 10 years.

The choice to nerf loot in t17 and t16.5 was fine if you added loot back in via league mechanic. However I feel like nerfing the hardest contents rewards is counterintuitive. By doing this there's less of an incentive to gear my character up to survive in those maps. This also leads to console feeling like dogshit because all the loot is locked behind scarabs and there are far less people trading on console.


2. When you have a new league mechanic it needs to feel rewarding. At the start through low maps it felt fine for gear However once you are running t16s it feels worthless. In the map it drops less loot than old breach. In the tree sure you can get some good stuff but it requires running multiple maps and turning in 20k blood to get nothing is extremely frustrating.
If breaches inside the map felt like they dropped normal amount of loot it would be fine. However breaches literally drops less loot than killing white mobs...

One of the best features introduced was the ability to use the map device storage inside maps. Instead of carrying around extra alchemy and chaos for rolling boxes and vaal orbs for essences. This hands down was one of the things I was most excited for because it removed the tedious task of always keeping these things in my inventory. I like being able to dump my whole inventory into stash and move on without think I need alcs, vaals and scours. It seems small but this is something I've heard at least 40 people complain about and I'd say thats a large anecdotal opinion considering there's not a large number of console players still playing.

4. The instant trade is amazing however only having 10 slots feels extremely punishing. What if I'm farming essences. There's more than 10 types alone. How can I reasonably sell them? Especially when you bring in consideration of console and the fact that things don't sell instantly you can have the correct market price but no one is looking for that essence for a few days. Not only do you lose gold repricing but it also limits the ability to buy new items once your trade is full.

My idea is either give us a separate buying page or double the number of orders you can have. This would allow players to post items that take a few days to sell and still trade chaos and divines for whatever they need.

I love this game but it seems some pretty easy qol and loot changes would have made a night and day difference in the retention of this last league.


I'm pretty doubtful this will be read but I hope it gets seen and maybe the game can return to the enjoyable state I use to play for months.
