Repeated disconnections when changing maps or locations

I'm getting disconnected repeatedly (only when changing maps or locations) and also battling to log into the server now. I've done all the recommended checks, but the 'Failed to connect to instance' message is becoming the bane of my existence.

This has been a problem for the last year or so, but it seems to be getting worse and I'm no longer able to complete any labs as I keep getting disconnected and having to restart.

Any insight or help would be much appreciated.

Nothing that GGG nor your ISP, nor YOU can do bout.

Using a VPN would be recommended if it wasn't for this game. Don't do it, it specifically worsens lag with PoE1/PoE2 & can cause more bad than good.
