Game pauses every second outside safe zones & stash content not visible (Xbox Series X)

I am experiencing a severe issue with Path of Exile 2 on Xbox Series X, which makes the game practically unplayable.

Platform: Xbox Series X
Issue started: 05.02.2026

Description of the problem

Stash and Guild Stash issue:

The contents of my personal stash and the guild stash are not visible.
Items only appear after I place a new item into the stash.
Game constantly pausing outside safe areas
As soon as I leave a hideout or any safe area, the game immediately pauses.
I can unpause it by pressing B, but within less than a second the game pauses again.
This loop repeats continuously, making it impossible to play.

Troubleshooting already done

Completely uninstalled and reinstalled the game
Disabled automatic pause in the game options
Change the Instance from Auto to London and Frankfurt
Restarted the console multiple times

None of these steps resolved the issue.

Network information

Internet connection: 1 Gbit/s

Latency: ~16 ms

Connection is stable, no packet loss in other games or services

Question

Is this a known issue, and is there any workaround or fix available?
What can I do to make the game playable again?

Having the same exact issue on Xbox Series X including the stash issue. Tried changing servers, disabling cross play, changing graphic settings and nothing fixes it. Started halfway through the day yesterday and it’s made it unplayable. I have found that if I am actively in combat it doesn’t pause but the moment I stop moving it immediately pauses again. Figured I’d say something so you know it’s not just you having this issue.

Have the same problem on xbox

Having the exact same issue on Xbox. Tried all the troubleshooting I could find throughout the forums and still no change. It has been like this since the morning of the 4th. Also, all the contents of my stash tabs arent visible until I quick move an item into them, so most of the affinity ones are completely not usable now.

Still having issues. Any updates? We wanna hit 90 for our chests.
