Aristocrat - the top branch - is a complete letdown
|
So, as my second and final build of the Phrecia Gauntlet i decided to try the Aristocrat. as we all know how idiotic current situation with attribute stacking is, went the top part: gem levels and quality branch
It was waste of time. What you get for your ENTIRE ascendancy: +9 passive points (nice) +1 to all skill gems +20% to all skills' quality +4 levels to the regular supports (not the big 3) 25% reduced attr requirements Thats it. I knew I wanted to pump levels so Crest of Desire is an obvious pick (it even has AR/EV theme, irrelevant but cool) if levels and quality: Suprisingly, there are not THAT many skills that a) can work without supports b) have quality worth stacking to 100%+ Tornado of Turbulence is the obvious pick, but I ve done that in the past. Finding second best skill was kinda difficult, but the lucky winner is: Wave of Conviction of Trarthus: 15% ele pen per 20% quality All it needs is AOE (you get it via Duration!) and - depending on personal preference - Novamark rungraft or Astral Projector. I like the nova self-cast and the AOE covers ENTIRE screen. cool. now, how does Aristocrat fit in into that? support levels? irrelevant for the main skill, hardly matters for others. it might have been different if you could get +2 on awakeneds but it seems it is still bugged (it does not give you +2 when you boost levels to 10. not checked personally, heard from others. might re-work the build if untrue) 20% quality -> 15% ele pen. for an entire ascendancy it isnt much. support skills hardly benefit from quality at all +1 level. more damage. cool. +9 passives. i look at it as a free cluster jewel. this is obviously a lot, esp if passing by cluster locations 25% red requirements - surprisingly useful, MUCH lesser pressure on suffixes, ability to wear pure top bases is not to be treated lightly. and thats it. obviously it is much worse than the bottom part - but thats easy, it is THE strongest class in the entire game right now. but if I did not treat it is a challenge I would have been utterly disappointed. esp the +4 supports is VERY weak (and even if fixed, limiting its usability to skills that can benefit from several +10 awakened supports is.. weird. there arent that many that actually can equip more than 2) for Phrecia 3.0, the HC only Gauntlet i would suggest +1 all skill gems -> +1 all gems (INCLUDING exceptional supports). +20 skill quality -> +20 skill AND SUPPORT (excluding exceptionals) quality 25% red requirements -> your STR/INT/DEX is 294 and cannot be further modified strong? stronger, for sure. but look at the bottom part of Aristocrat and tell me if you would pick the top one even after these changes - I know you wouldnt right now, I feel sorry for anyone who went all in on the top part as it is simply bad, real bad Last bumped on Feb 12, 2026, 7:21:24 PM

" skills with strong quality die whith the removal of anomalous/divergent skills and supports. minions tend to have good quality bonus and benefit from +1 skills levels but duelist starting point makes it a terrible choice for minions. " Family Heirlooms: Notable Passive Skills also grant 1% more damage and 4% reduced atribute requirement. center piece-> +3% quality to skills and support per empty socket on equipment gem lined cap -> +1 to skill gems levels and +3 to all non-Exceptional Support Gems levels every 4 socketed unique jewels in the Passive skill tree |
