I just got this message while getting dc'ed back to log-in screen. What does this mean?

I have gotten this message twice. I was mf running merv. I kept an instance open 1 level prior to the Cavern of Anger nearly indefinitely because I was completing them within 8 minutes. Both times that I got the message was when I was transitioning through different instances very very fast: create Cavern of Wrath TP before Cavern of Anger instance door=> run through -> kill Merv, Act 2 Forest WP -> Shore Encampment WP -> my TP -> reopen TP -> create new Cavern of Anger instance ->repeat. I think transitioning super fast through instances causes this issue. I'm not sure. It is how this error happened to me.

E: I did not dc when the error popped up.

I got one of those errors once standing in town working on gear. My portal back to my instance disappeared.

This just happened to me. I was in act 2 forest town, messing with inventory, and as I was trying to drag an item into my stash I dced back to login screen.

I had logged in about 5-10 minutes prior, and had no portals up or anything. In fact I had only been messing with inventory the whole time. Seems I spend most of my time doing that, decisions decisions.

I keep getting the same error message whenever i visit a town. Usually i get disconnected if i interact with my inventory, things like identify an item or try to sell. Any idea as to why is this happening? Sometimes i get an operation timed out error instead of this one.

Same thing has happened to me several time, while just standing in town chatting. Not zoning, not in my stash, not doing anything else. At first I was worried someone else was trying to log into my account at the same time, thus kicking me...

Please shed some light on this.

Just got the error while fighting vaal.

Rushed the pyramid part by just skipping everything I got nice run speed and whiling blade and because the server was restarted and I was at the top when it happened.

Got to vaal started to fight him but ran out of potions a few time to had to tp back to town. I did that a few times and then I got, the operation could not be performed because this instance is not the owner of the account.

It's really frustrating.

Also just had this happen to me; I was in the Sarn base using orbs on a chestpiece when it booted me with that error message. It seems to be an issue with the way the client communicates with the server, because when I logged back in, I had 3 or 4 more orbs than I was booted with.

I think there might have been an error with what the client thinks the orb rolled compared to the server response. Your guess is as good as mine.

This keeps happening to me whenever I move 1 piece of armor in particular, I sold it, haven't had the problem sense. I realize how silly this sounds, I have no explanation.
