Temp file issue

Hi, I am trying to load the game (I created an account at my friends place)
and I'm getting the Error: "There was an error creating a temporary file that is needed to complete the installation". Because of space issues (and I'm using a SSD) I am trying to install the game to my G: drive the issue is the same as this thread http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/45193 I tried the fix there and it didn't work any help would be greatly appreciated cheers Last edited by Sire_Skinny#1097 on Oct 21, 2013, 3:17:35 AM Last bumped on Oct 31, 2017, 2:32:07 PM

Copy the Path of Exile folder to your G: drive, navigate to it from the new (windows) account, and run Client.exe, it should start up with no problems if it works on the other account.
Fill us in with more detail if that's not the solution you were looking for. |

Its not installed on this computer, i have downloaded the installer but it messes up during the setup

You can install Path Of Exile by downloading this file and putting it in the Path of Exile folder where you want PoE installed to. Once there, just right-click it, and "Run as Administrator" and it will download all the other stuff it needs. Create a shortcut if you'd like quick access to it.

upping this, i have the same issue after i modified my temp folders ( moved the folders from my SSD to HDD)
