do they do anything besides follow u around, there should be some that pick up drops u miss... or can change which drops it picks up

Pets are just cosmetic. They don't help you in any way. GGG is very against having anything in their shop as P2W. Having a pet that picks up items for you gives you an edge.
All the things I want to remember are in the places I'd like to forget.
