Advice on possible Frenzy / Conduit build?

Hello all.

I haven't played the game in over 6 months. I want to come back with a friend and have some fun with a bit of synergy between two builds. We're playing on standard league.

We don't have much in the way of currency, about 2 exalteds worth of currency plus several tabs of good leveling rares. So we can acquire some cheap uniques (like the blood dance), but we are not interested in builds that rely on anything that costs above ~1gcp.

I should also note that all the gear I have is life/armor/evasion based so an ES build is out of the question. I think I have one 5L item. Or maybe I don't. Definitely no 6L's.

My friend is going to play a "flickzerker", a pretty straightforward bloodrage / multistrike / flickerstrike duelist. (life/armor/evasion based with blood dance)

Our earlier attempt at playing together was counterproductive, as his build doesn't function very well when he's not the one landing killing blows. So I'm thinking of playing more of a support / enabler role this time.

The best I can come up with is a scion archer using frenzy + conduit + auras, with some potential minion support for distraction. I'm thinking if I just use frenzy with a bow as my main skill, he can flicker nonstop without even using bloodrage, which should be fun!

Scion is ideal for this as conduit is right at the beginning, meaning we can play together from the get go.

I will most likely use a skeleton totem, and power charge on crit with frenzy to utilize conduit better. Or perhaps frenzy + power charge on crit + cast on crit + summon skeletons? Would allow me to drop another totem.

Or perhaps chain + cast on crit + EK is the way to go?

Not sure cast on damage taken + enduring cry is a good idea - it would taunt all nearby targets every time I take damage right?

Here's a very rough skill tree I filled out (the actual build plan should obviously aim for around 80 points but I wanted to mark possible paths of expansion to choose from)

It's been a while since I did this, so I'm almost certainly missing some better paths, all optimization tips are welcome!

poe.north-edge.com gives the following stat recap (is that site still accurate?):

Spoiler
48% increased Attack Speed
+230 to Dexterity
10% increased Radius of Auras
120% increased Critical Strike Chance
12% increased Attack Speed with Bows
120% increased Critical Strike Chance with Bows
62% increased Physical Damage with Bows
Share Endurance, Frenzy and Power Charges with nearby party members
90% increased Critical Strike Multiplier
50% increased maximum Mana
4% increased Evasion Rating per Frenzy Charge
222% increased maximum Life
+160 to Strength
18% increased Frenzy Charge Duration
+120 to Intelligence
+20 to maximum Life
+2 Maximum Frenzy Charge
3% increased Movement Speed
62% increased Projectile Damage
10% reduced Mana Reserved

I'll probably have to give up the attack speed and crit strike passives first, as +222% life is already rather low I reckon?

I also picked a lot of +30 stat keystones as I often need the extra stats to equip items (did I mention I don't have a lot of good items? :p) I'll probably not have to take all of them though.

I decided not to go for 2x curse as spending 12 points on it seems like a waste. I'd rather get one of the cheap uniques that give +1 curses I think.

As an alternative possibility I'm considering giving up all the damage/crit nodes, and instead focusing on minions, getting all the +1 skeleton nodes, and perhaps minion instability. Not sure how viable frenzy + cast on crit + summon skeletons + summon zombie would be without any crit nodes though. I'd probably have to manually summon zombies, and use a skeleton totem.

A rather amusing alternative was to make two conduit flickzerkers! That could be pretty crazy. :D
