1. That opens the door for a "1 block per base" filter architecture, which isn't very healthy on the long term.
Do magic Stygian Belts drop that often ?
2. For leather belts, yes, but that doesn't mean nobody is gathering them for future use.
About other bases, i tried several times to find some other worthy ones, but you can usually chance too many different (crap) uniques on them.
But if you know some very good stuff that only has 1 possible unique outcome (like sorc boots), i'm all ears =]

If everything goes well, 3.1.C should see the light at the beginning of next week.

i think taste of hate is one of the few ones. but it's not too valuable right now 1,8 exa. sorcerer boots is a multibase unique and leather belts have 5-6 different unique outcomes mind you.

we have kaom's heart, tukohama's fortress and lycosidae though they are bigger items.

magic stygian belts are not too big of a deal. better to keep the good filter architecture.
i have them hidden along with crystal belts and vanguard belts for the time being as ilvl84+ bases are still visible.

did you consider dimming portal/id scrolls for better visibility?

Leather belts can become many different uniques, true, but the potential value of the outcome highly justifies it =P
Sorc boots will stay, since Steppan Eard cannot be chanced.
Lyco, Kaom, and Taste, are great suggestions, though i remember having discarded them since it would always be more profitable using chances on sorc boots anyway, but i might add them, mostly for people not trading much.
I think i won't add Ebony shields, Tuko is great, but Chernobog sucks.

Watch out by hiding the block for magic restricted belts.
Since 3.1.B, the upper restricted items aren't ilvl84+ anymore, rather the optimal ilvl (required to access all possible mods) for the corresponding bases.
That means if you hide that block, you will only see ilvl86+ magic restricted belts.
If you can wait for 3.1.C next week, i might post here a custom modification, just for you =]

Something needs to be done for scrolls, thanks for reminding me that.

I will also add a some of your previous suggestions about early leveling.
Do you think 3L & 4L might be treated equally, or class-specific ?
Because i have that idea of displaying 3L only for items that can't exceed 3 sockets, and the same for 4L.
Not sure if a good idea, let me know what you think about that.

Honestly that's fine if the belts are ilvl 86+ for restricted max mods. I don't do much crafting and if i do i can always turn magic belts on again.

The scrolls were just a suggestion i saw greengroove use in his filter and it seems to work pretty well. Sort of semi hidden but still there for pick up.

Having 3L displayed until ilvl 25 when 4L starts to drop might be a good idea. Or have them overlap a few additional levels. Maybe til ilvl 30 or so.

Not sure about your idea. It could work well or not. I would have to try it. Typically in a fresh league while leveling i am looking for any 3/4L with decent stats to put my main gem setup in.

Do you mean with your idea that 3/4L chests and 2-handers will be hidden?
Well, not hidden, but displayed like other non-special items.
Was more of a "max linked sockets" approach, but it might not be suitable for leveling, at all.

As you already saw, i don't like messing with opacity, mostly because it becomes sometimes tough to make the difference with stuff allocated for others.
That will most probably end up with font size 27 (new tier).
