This still happens to me. I even got a brand new pc recently the only thing that was not replaced was my gpu(2080Ti) and same porblem occurs. I have read that changing nvidia gsync options in nvidia control panel helps if ur playing in borderless windowed mode you need to set gsync to only work in full screen. That way you should not have issues in poe if u play it in borderless windowed mode BUT you will not have gsync that way only if play poe in fullscreen where the problem does not occur.

my new pc specs are
Amd 5800x
2080Ti(same as on the old pc)

Also this issues started happening for me the league before harvest I think and has been happening every league since. Its a huge issue for me since I also play Hardcore only and having fps drop and lock to 24fps during a nasty map or bossfight is just plain horrible have almost died a couple of times to this. Hope it gets fixed one day but in all honestly I dont think its even on GGGs radar atm and I dont know how to make them aware of it :(

Still same issue occuring 2 weeks into new league. :(
Please fix, happens even after fresh install of windows and poe!

it's most likely a g-sync/freesync bug, but it only happens in PoE

any solution? any idea?

don't want to live without it
This is still happening over a year later.

Changed to Vulkan again to see if it still happens.,... and yea. Always happens when i enter a new zone or go into the passive tree etc.

PC specs:
Ryzen 3700x
GTX 2080 Super
32GB Ram
G-sync monitors

definitely a G-Sync problem.

Happens to me aswell, but I have found a "workaround" except deactivating G-sync of course.

If I run a stream/video on my second screen it won't happen. U can mute it and set it to 360p or something, but it has to be shown on the screen (not minimized or behind other apps)

only happens in Windowed Fullscreen Mode, Vulkan, G-Sync enabled

ASUS ROG 4k Monitor @ 144Hz
ASUS RTX 3080
AMD RYZEN 3800X
32GB RAM
