Others can pick up my items with Permanent Allocation on

When mapping with a group of players, items that are dropped that are allocated to me was picked up by others. This shouldn't have happened with Permanent Allocation on.

Well if others can pick them up, they are unallocated. Not allocated to you. Is the area set on permanent? What’s the party set at? A screenshot showing the party screen with the area text visible showing the area allocation would have been helpful.

It can also happen if a monster is killed from a big distance (like a screen or more? I don't remember). If someone's skill in your party has a big range, that could be an issue.
