Generosity not applying to minions?

I am running a minion build and in my shield, I have Generosity, Herrold of Lightning, and Herrold of Ice. When I enable these, my own Arc skill DPS raises which seems to suggest the heralds are effecting me, not my minions and that Generosity is being ignored. In Path of building, the heralds show no change to the DPS as well when I click them. Am I missing something?

Generosity only works for auras not heralds ;)
