New Annoints = Skill Tree Slightly Reworked?
Annoints is from Notables Right?

Amulet annoints are from notables, including some that are not on the skill tree.

Sister Cassia has discovered a new Blight Oil which will allow you to anoint new secret notables! If they're secret, they're probably not on the tree. Bird lover of Wraeclast

There are already "secret" notables not on the tree, both for anoints and for flesh/flame. This isn't anything new.

secret passives do exist but with a new oil, that changes a WHOLE BUTLOAD SHIT OF THINGS.
reason being, its not as simple as "oh we're giving access to some secret nodes" it allows GGG to create secret passives on the fly. based on wiki with the 13 oils, we have access to 455 different passives. with a 14th oil that can easily open up a bucket load of oil combinations. ggg COULD do the lazy thing where they just enable some combinations and give us access to a few new secret passives, but i m of the opinion that GGG probably might make an entire list of secret passives to accomodate for all the combinations available. " yeah that can be reasonable. perhaps they will only allow higher tiered oils to be mixed so that the combinations would be reduced. still a good way to expand blight. i wonder if ggg will allow us to anoint more things. having secret anoints are cool but if its gonna be contesting other valuable passives, players may opt just to use the old passives. if the secret ones are much better than the old passives, then players would opt to use the secret ones and the old nodes will all be unused going forward. My prediction is that the new secret anoints will not be as generic as e.g. "10% max health" or "50% attack damage", but rather give unique, build-altering effects. Hyped to learn more!
