lab is even worse in poe2...

Seeing a few ‘the new shoes I have not bought yet hurt my feet’ sort of comments, we don’t know how hard these trials will be. Personally 3 waves of ‘ultimatum’…bring it on for ‘first lab’, same for first floor of ‘sanctum’. But that’s just me and I don’t know how tough they’ll be either!

EDIT: I would love to know where people are buying these crystal balls from, next weeks lotto is huge and I want to buy one lol

As someone who is ignoring ea because ea games are usually in their worst state, this change didn't matter to me.

But sanctum is a bad choice in my opinion, at least mechanically. Resolve shouldn't be a thing. It was neat during sanctum, but fulldodging monsters didn't mesh well with arpgs.

If the numbers are roughly the some as during the sanctum league it has got some serious issues.

At least the ask isn't a full sanctum.

For the trial (if I understood the announcement correctly) your ‘resolve’ for trial is not flat amount anymore but is based on your max life, this makes it much ‘easier’ in some terms and the rest we will see in 2 weeks

Another factor is how easy it is to get access to the trials via entry currencies.
I guess they are drop only but maybe can be crafted/target farmed as well.

The ascendancy is just a basic introduction course into the End game mechanics.

I understood this differently

First 2 Points:
First 3 "Sanctum" floors + Boss.
or
First 3 "Ultimatum" floors + boss

The next 2 points need more floors/rooms in each.
The final 2 points being a full run in either version + Boss.

Thats How I understood it from the Livestream.

If those are anything like they are in PoE 1, I dont wanna deal with it at all.
If the 3rd is Trial of Ancestors than its no PoE 2 for´me as my 3 most hated Leagues are now forced content to progress...

Heh, last time the crystal ball fortune tellers were active, I head PoE 2 EA only has 3 acts and little to no endgame. The reveal stream was glorious, proving all these people wrong.
