POE2 PS5 - Trial of Sekhemas Ascendancy Point Not Awarded when Completing Test of Will

Dear GGG Team, I successfully completed the “Test of Will” in Trial of Sekhemas by defeating the twin bosses (Fire and Ice Statues) and interacting with the Ascendancy Altar. The message indicated that I had received a new Ascendancy point. However, no additional skill point was actually granted — I still only have the four points from my previous trials.
Assuming it was a temporary glitch, I tried refunding my current Ascendancy points, but it didn’t work. I then returned to the character selection screen and logged back in. When I re-entered the area, I appeared in the hallway outside the Trial. Interacting with the central altar (where the coin is placed) no longer took me back to the Test of Will room — instead, it led me directly to the Test of Cunning room.

You must complete floor 3 to receive points 5 and 6.

I never received my ascendancy points from competing test of will in Trial of Sekhemas. My 3rd and 4th point i got from the trial of Chaos. Or am i missing something here? Does completing Trial of Sekhemas: test of will for the first time does not grant ascendancy skill points? But why did i see the Ascendency Altar at the end of test of will and click it and it showed that I got new points then.

You get points for completing a specific floor. Each floor of Sekhema's can reward a new set of points, but you got your second set from Chaos instead.

The Altar always appears in case you wish to change your ascendancy.
