1.3 ✮ The Crit DoT Chin Sol build ✮ Puncture Trap / Ice Shot (Build of the Week S3E3)

for the doryani's invitation belt why do you have the physical varient? The tool tip shows most of the damage is ice followed by fire followed by physical

I love this build, it will be my second ranger starting today.
But what about this lv87 tree: It gain life without sacrificing too much damage, what do you guys think? (also I like 1 more trap) |
|
" that's because pretty much all ice/fire damage is derived from physical, so increasing physical damage increased the physical portion AND the ice/fire portion. |

Getting near the end of my build on rampage and decided to throw a VAAL in my Drillneck O.O

" Amazing. |

upgrading to doryani's invitation physical belt from a belt with around 30% of elemental damage on weapon gived me no dps upgrade? is there something im missing here or is the belt just that underwelming for this build?

This build has really fast clear times once you get the hang of it, and the damage of puncture - holy snapping ducks feet, you just throw a couple puncture traps and every boss in the game (that I've run into so far) just melts in a few seconds.
The main cons for me so far are the extremely low life and the mana management issues. In terms of mana management, it only becomes a problem if I miss, so have to shoot multiple arrows to kill a mob/pack, so I will try to work more on my accuracy and I think that will help a lot. Also, if you want to be able to do elemental reflect, get that vaal pact early. I don't have it yet and can't run ele reflect (I tried and kept dieing). |

Im not sure if my gear is too good or if this build just doesnt handle ele reflect as well as OP says.
I certainly die instantly when opening fire on a group of ele reflect mobs. IGN: Kaptajnklo
