[3.0] NeverSink's ♣ INDEPTH Tornado&Archer Guide ♣ Beginner friendly ♣ Rapid clear ♣ All bosses

Wanted to first of all say thanks for the guide - this has been great for a newbie like me!

Second, I'm currently stuck on 4L gear - using TS - LMP - Added Fire - Improved Crit (due to socket colors), and it's working for now. At what stage should I really look to move to a 5L piece of gear and is it worth spending the little currency I have to get one?

Just from my own experience, a 4L lasted me until lvl 80, easily doing maps up to about 71-72 or so (and done some 73-74, but due to either it being 4L, or had a weaker bow at the time, was harder to clear them quick enough).

After that I've upgraded to a 5L for my tornado shot.

Also, its actually pretty easy to re-color your gear to 4-Greens for the tornado/lmp-or-gmp/physical proj damage/faster attacks. Especially if you're using an evasion piece of gear. Just throw a few chromatics at it :)

Thanks, I'll stick with the 4L for now (it's actually on crappy magic gloves), and will try a couple of orbs to re-colour it.

I really need to upgrade my bow at the moment, so I'll focus on getting more damage there.

I guess the best thing to do is to pick up every single white Harbinger Bow I can find and use an Orb of Alch on it until I get what I need. or I guess I could scour just 1 white Harbinger and Alch it and rinse and repeat until it has good mods, and once the stats are decent, then master craft to add the additional mod...

I'm grabing Harbringers now and transmuting/aug each one. I'm using this Decimation I crafted for 68 maps, really easy, 220 pDPS only, still do the job 5,5k TS with a 5L.

Having a blast with this build on Torment currently lvl 82 and soloing 75/76/77 maps easy enough certain mods need to watch out for. 10k Dps on Tornado and 19k on Puncture. Using split arrow for cursing. Slowly working on getting 20% gems. And a better chest.

Have capped RES was lucky with ammy bought for 5c and crafted on the crit.
Need more STR and INT on my gear so I can get back the four nodes I have used so far.
Looking forward to seeing the Windripper build as I am trying to save up for one.

Also hoping to do Atziri runs soon once I get more life nodes.

Thx again for the very in depth build has to be my most OP character

Cheers
LGW

Very nice gear, I'm sure you could update your Chest as they (Evasion Rares) are usually pretty cheap to get 90+ life on that. (http://poe.trade/search/autohaugaukona 8c and 10c currently)
Do you have a lot of life nodes specced in your tree, as the only source of flat life is your level as well as Quiver and Boots (no life on other gear)?

/Edit: the second one on poe.trade is nice as you can still craft something on it (e.g. flat evasion or 3rd resist)

Only have 2.9k life but I still need to grab the 4 life/flask nodes and the 3 armour/evasion/life nodes that were recommended on the 1st page for drill neck builds. If I can upgrade my rings/amulet to have STR/INT then I could use those 4 nodes to get more life.

Hence why I am not trying Atziri at this stage. Will spend time looking for a chest on my days off. Also trying to upgrade my bow wanting 300+ dps got a couple of 6s I am crafting when I have the currecny.

Currently doing maps and farming to get more currency...

Edit: had a look at those chests nice will see what I can do in the morning after I finish nightshift.

Cheers

i need to keep one (better one i think) and sell other (so i can afford drillneck). Are these both worth multimoding? and what mods should i craft there if so?
Can someone please help me decide what gear to change next? Currently I have capped resists (106/79/77), 14235 eva and 3711 life. TS damage is 7.8k, puncture is 18.3k. I looted my current armour, respecced INT/STR and mana leech nodes, buyed cheap jewelry to compensate and completed base tree. Now I'm trying to buy Drillneck, then new Harbinger (or drop ilvl 77 and craft myself) and only then I plan to change jewelry.

I'm worrying about quite low life. Is it worth ditching my current armour (if it is good, then is it worth to 5-6link it?) and buying with lower evasion, but higher life? Same goes for jewelry. Is it worth to go full crit on jewelry? And maybe there is better ways to spend my skillpoints on tree?

Will be really grateful for help. I clear trash quite fast on 75 maps, but have trouble with bosses. Also, I cannot level past 86 because of frequent RIPs :(

They are both pretty nice.
The first could reach (with perfect Tora roll for flat Physical) 159,6 - 319,2 base damage
The second would only reach (with perfect Tora roll for Physical%) 137,3 - 296,5 base damage

The second one has a little more attack speed (1,31 compared to 1,2) ... in DPS (without any passives/nodes included) they would be pretty equal (287,3 DPS vs 281,97 DPS), I'm sure the 0,25% more crit on the second will even that out.

I would personally take the first one because of the higher base damage.

For multi-mod, I would not recommend to elreon-mod either of them. Both already have 2 suffixes and both can only REALLY profit from 1 suffix (flat and % physical damage), hybrid mod is no longer a thing.

TY for answering, as far as i understood u say i can save 2ex off elreon and just craft there that dmg modes wich is much cheaper and possibly can get decent bows? also do i need tora lvl 8 to craft max tiers? got 7 atm. Dont know whats that her meta-crafting mod so far.
