[3.0] NeverSink's ♣ INDEPTH Tornado&Archer Guide ♣ Beginner friendly ♣ Rapid clear ♣ All bosses

A couple questions:

First, I'm able to regret the three points for mana leech due to a nice ammy I own, so I can't decide where to place those three points. I know in guide its stated that Master Fletcher isn't recommended. But it seems pretty nice when I look at it. All that extra damage seems like a no-brainer. So why not? It seems either that or Depth Perception (accuracy and crit) are the two immediate places to put those points.

So, why would crit/acc triumph over phys damage? Doesn't seem either are wrong, I'm just curious why the guide would advise against one.
============================================

Also: I have some currency burning a hole in my pocket. I see three places I can upgrade, bow, chest, and quiver. Which should I be looking to upgrade first?

Is the chest worth trying to 6L, or should I try to find something better? With the exception of the evasion, it's pretty decent.

Is the bow worth trying to link? Or should I be looking for a better DPS bow?

Hi I've been playing this build for sometime and I'm looking for upgrades for my equipment.
I am currently lvl 79 and have around 4k life

A few questions about my gear.
1. There is still room for improvement for the Bow. My harbinger has 280 pDPS. I have like 20 exalts now. Should I buy another harbinger with higher pDPS or a lioneye's Glare ?

2. I got the life and resists on my rings and amulet, but they provide little bonus to DPS. If I want to
upgrade my gear, what should I prioritize, the bow or the jewellery? Or is there other parts of my gear
that worth upgrading than the abovementioned?

hi
1. i dont think ull get dps improvement from lioneyes glare, because it had 5% crit and ur bow has 9% (maybe u get less accuracy on harbinger but more c.chance), i can lend u my lioneyes to check dps with it if u like.
2.i think that ur gear is fine, since ure using pierce on ur 6L, i guess that a drillneck will boost your DPS?(also u need to invest like 4SP for the extra 30% pierce), me personaly dont use that technique so maybe someone who actually use that can tell u more information,
i personaly use other 6L combo, but w.e fits you ^.^

For me personally I am a fan of Avatar of the Hunt and Aspect of the Eagle, both of which I think are better than Master Fletcher. Faster Movement Speed = dodge more skills, Atziri is easier, clear maps faster. This is a Crit based build so you do have to consider what a Critical Strike does for you, especially in terms of elemental damage too. I would much rather have Crit > Physical in the nodes, up to a certain balance.

As for your Upgrades, in general I would go for the Bow first. I would not 6L your chest as you definitely want more EVA (not to mention the current one in use has an open slot so you're not maximizing the potential of the gear piece itself).

Quiver is generally pretty easy to upgrade imo, I try to aim for 30+ Crit Chance/30+ Crit Multi/30+ WED, so there are some very decent options for relatively cheap: http://poe.trade/search/nzorekahokosug

I have around 10ex to spend, maybe a bit more..

I can't link my items in the post cuz im dumb so I uploaded a pic with them Dx

thanks!

Replace doryani belt by a rustic sash or leather/heavy belt with 80+ life and at least two res.
Replace your chest armor by another 5L with 70+ life and at least two res.

Hello as it is my first post here, and what's most important thanks to NeverSink for this absolutely awesome guide (also thanks to few other people whose names i can't recall right now, but are also a great asset to this thread).

Started playing poe like 10 days ago and first thing i encountered browsing through forums was this guide. Im really happy i sticked with it as im 76 lvl right now and everything ingame goes smooth.

Well, as i seem to have no problems with the build, what is my question going to be? Actually as im sitting in work, doing completely nothing for 12 hours (just sunday things) i decided to read through whole thread and i encountered a rather interesting armor option i didn't consider before just because i didnt know it existed (using 1.1k eva sharkskin tunic myself atm). Queen of the Forest and its movement speed reduction/increase.

tl;dr

Does having an Art of the Gladiator passive cancel the speed reduction of Queen of the Forest while keeping the 1% speed/450 eva bonus ? am i going to be a race car if i buy this thingie ?

thanks in advance for help

No, Art of the Gladiator only removes the base move penalty. Queen's malus is a separate property.

im kinda disappointed :D thx for fast answer and i believe i'll have to get that 11k evasion to nullify the speed reduction, shouldnt be hard as im at above 9k atm iirc
Hello there NeverSink

Thanks for the guide. You've obviously put a lot of time and effort into making it.
I've used the guide for the last One Month Race league and it's worked out beautifully. I thhink I've pretty much followed your passive tree

lvl 84 passives

Gear

I think at one point I had an Alpha's Howl, but decided against it because I'm only running one aura (hatred). I've been running two Heralds (ash, thunder) for the most part. but since lvl83 I've been able to run all three of my skills (Tornado Shot, Puncture, Blink Arrow) on blood magic and thus I've been able to reserve all my mana to incorporate herald of ice as well which has increased my clear speed again by a mile.

I'm currently using Herald of Thunder linked to CoH and Poacher's Mark. I think Assassin's Mark would increase my damage, but getting 4 off colours on an evasion base is just too expensive.

The bow I'm using is not quite as Hi-spec as could be, but with tri-herald + hatred I'm actually more reflect safe.

I'd love to be able to switch out my Wurm's Molt some time.
