TS lost 10% damage (still has WAY more damage than before).

The true nerfs was the Ondals Guile, CWDT and aura nerfs. Those three affect everyone though. The build is still working perfectly!

I've updated the skilltree and parts of the first post, will take care of the other sections soon enough. I really dig the new tree :)

Note: The skilltree is working for Split arrow / Tornado Shot / LA / Ice Arrow!

Also renamed the post. It's now officially a Archer guide, not only TS (now that OTHER skills are not trash anymore). TS is still good though!

I'll also update the tree for Ele/Windripper variations soon




Awesome. And yeah, my question was rhetorical, hehe. Did the research for TS so I'm still feeling it. Might have an idea for "CWDT" but I'm not playing Ranger in the new League so it may come later.

Question though:
why did you not pick Vaal Pact in the defensive version of the build? It's only 3 nodes, and no longer has a downside (besides the no life regen)? The way I see it it's a no-brainer, since it adds so much more survivability for those of us that cannot afford Acuity's.

Edit: maybe switch the 3 nodes from Spirit Void for Essence Sap? Nets you 0.2% more mana leech for the same amount of nodes. Only loss is the 2 mana on hit, which is replaced by 5 mana on kill.

You sacrifice -51% life compared to the aggressive tree version.

Additionally you lose 16% attack speed, 52% accuracy, 102% crit and 16% multiplier.

Damage-wise you lose the 6 frenzy charges (can get up to 9 with good corruptions and quests) that provide a 24% MORE damage multiplier (AND 24% attack/cast speed), it's more than enough to compensate for the damage difference.

Not a good trade-off for 3 jewel slots imo. Also costs you 1 more point.

You'll die. A lot. Either to mobs or to reflect.

The vaal pact idea is not bad, I'm considering it.

As for spirit void: +2 on hit is WAY better. You easily do 30+ hits with both tornado shot and split arrow. It adds the mana instantly, has no leech cap and is not affected by map mods. It's the whole reason to go for the node.
