Awesome bow! How are you guys getting the 240%+ added damage to bows when tyrannical is the highest listed modifier at 150%+? Is there an additive bonus of some type?

Can someone help me to find some upgrades? my fire res is at -11, cold 25% fire 66% and 2.5k hp at lvl 68. Somebody linked this a few pages back http://poe.trade/search/mearuamokoyeri and im considering buying one of these belts. Also i need a new boots maybe atziry steps? they are cheap but they dont have any res, the bow will be the last thing i will upgrade because i need like 1-2 exalt for it. I also linked a queen of the forest i got, should i try to 5 link it? | |
" The Gale Fletch Thicket Bow you are referring to was not crafted using Forsaken Masters. It was crafted the old fasioned way; trans/aug/alt + yolo regal until you get 3 desired tier 1 mods, then the expensive process of eternal/exalting until you get the desired result. The 246% is actually a combination of the prefixes Local Phys Dam+% and Local Phys Dam+% / Local Accuracy Rating. In this bow's case... Tyrannical and Emperor's. The 2 phy dam %'s combine to be 246%. " poe.trade is the place to look. If you've never used it before, take a few minutes to play around with the various drop boxes to see what all you can search for. If you are wondering what to look for, the OP gave some VERY helpful pointers in his Equipment section. Personally, I am not a fan of the Tabula Rasa for the simple reason of......NO DEFENSES. Queen of the Forest is mentioned in the OP, but 5 linking it could be costly. A cheaper way to get decent defense and a 5l is buying a white 5l armor, throw an alc on it and perhaps a couple chaos. Chest cost me 5c + 1 alc + 3/4 alc for craft + 20 scraps. Not the best chest, but it is what I can afford for now. " Hehehe due to my crap RNG this league contributing mightily to being poor, I am using a Lioneye's Glare while I try to farm the orbs for socketing/linking/crafting a Harby. While Phys reflect is a big danger to me, by staying aware of what I'm shooting at I have not ripped to Phys reflect. When I do encounter a PR pack I just patiently maneuver around the pack to get a clear shot at the rare and punture it once or twice (chugging a pot in between heheeh) and let it bleed out. Another solution is Ice Shot. I have actually done a couple Phys Reflect maps using Ice Shot and switching PPAD with something else. Ele Reflect maps, if with other damage mods, I swap hatred for haste. And finally, to the OP...
Thank you very much for a fun build and a thoroughly in-depth guide!!! The only thing hampering me at this point is my crappy RNG, hehehe. To all the new folks to POE, having little to no currency, this build will still work! A good bit of my current gear is self found.

Secondary Swap for gem leveling Cost: Lioneye's Glare as a 4l: 9c Rat's nest: 20c Chest: 5c + crafting costs of 4-5 alc Ammy: 5c Boots: 5c All else was self found, including Maligaro's (ilvl 22!) Once I have my potions correctly sorted I will try Atziri. Speaking of which....I have yet to get past the trio on any build :( So, Question about atziri....would it be best to swap out pierce in my Puncture setup for something else (i'm thinking about the mirror); if so what is a good choice? Added Cold? Cold Pen? Something I missed? " Well since you're not yet using a drillneck, Pierce won't do you any good dps wise. I would suggest added fire over added cold as your 5th link for Puncture. Downside is you'd have to recolor your bow for it. |

" Don't go for Atziri's steps. Steps are awesome, but only once you can cap your resists without them. As already suggested, instead get a rare 5L armor. You likely will be better off by buying a white one (as also already suggested) and either alching it or alt-regaling it into something decent + crafting one more mod on it (i was using such a armor for the first 2 weeks of the league, while farming atziri and taking on 78 maps). A slightly costly but good upgrade is a physical doryanis belt. It's not the best thing in the league (because it has no HP), but it provides a lot of diverse and strong bonuses, such as resists, phys damage, flask boosts and leech. Queen of the forest is not a bad choice, but it requieres a different setup. You need to run grace, you likely want alphas, so you'll have less damage. I don't recommend it with this build. Heralds are awesome. " 1) If you use drillneck: keep it, but be aware of the angle you're facing. You're best off identifying the mirror and aligning yourself in a beneficial way. 2) If you don't use drillneck, swap it for crit chance (or power charge on crit) or fire damage.
