Conclusion: this gear change would cost me 16% spell dodge from Atziri's step and drop my hp from 4.8k to around 4.4-4.5k and possibly lower evasion. However, I would gain a significant dps boost to my TS, higher crit (from Maligaro's and a rare quiver) and crit multi without sacrificing any resists.

Thoughts ?

Quick edit: should I keep Drillneck and gain a 6th link at some point I can put my 20Q Pierce as my 6th link to TS. To make these changes I mentioned I would probably have to sell my Drillneck.

TL;DR
Lose 16% spell dodge, some evasion and few hundred life to gain 2000 or more DPS boost to TS without sacrificing too much survivability or keep current setup and wait for 6th link Pierce gem to go with Drillneck.

Upgrade your jewelry instead of letting go of drillneck and Atziri's step. Aim for 80-90 total res/ring. People seem to forget the Pierce element that comes with using a drillneck. It's amazing for clear speed! Also, 4.5k HP is plenty, don't worry about it too much. I reached level 90 with just 3.5k HP, dying a total of 8 times before I started running Atziri. When you've got your jewelry/res sorted out, you can start saving up for a 6L,gl.

Unfortunately I need these pieces of jewelry to cap out my stats (strength and int) and they already provide me with a substantial amount of resistances across the board so I would rather not go about changing those.

I did buy a rare DPS quiver however which grants higher life than Drillneck and also provides a small but sturdy DPS boost (raises my crit chance by 4.2%).



Only cost me some fuse but for now it is better than Drillneck as I am unable to utilize the quality Pierce gem.

good dps jewelry would have to have a high rolls of a combination of these mods: flat phys roll - crit multi - crit chance - accuracy rating - WED. They're pretty hard to get since TS/puncture is the flavor of the league so you won't see a lot for sale and when you do, they're usually expensive.

You can get jewelry w/ stats, life and res but expect to pay a premium for them. Got this for 1ex and it's a steal. Perfect for this build.

What do you think about the new Herald with this build? Would you swap something out for it?

There are some in the front page post. Phys damage, crit, ias and ele damage are primary DPS boosts that can be found in rings and amulets.

However, you should primary focus on life/resists+leech+stats on those items imo.

Wait. Dodge, evasion and life is quite big. Unless you find your clear speed weak and your capability to survive too strong, I don't recommend doing it.

So i'm now level 78 and loving the build so far, but i need a bit of help :D i don't really now where to go right now.



I plan on getting True strike and Hired killer next, then go down the eva wheel and refund 1 point on the way, and afterwards get to life wheel.




I dont really know what i should focus on with that gear (like what pieces to upgrade). I'm a bit overcapped in res, have around 3.9k hp. Also, i made the choice of getting Lightning coil for the increased mitigation against annoying EK/Evangelist/Bear trap mobs since our other mitigation sources are not too effective against it.
The Alpha's will most likely get replaced once my reduced mana is lvl 20 for a rat's nest to gain more deeps, but for now, i love the versatility of Alpha's (more dps with haste than with HoI, and when there are kinda crazy mods, i can swap in Grace that i level in off weapons).

First, are the choices i explained previously viable ? and second, what pieces of gear should i upgrade soon ? My main concern is about my low dps (6.3k tornado/12.6k puncture) and my low crit chance (39%) even tho both problems are linked :p

I'm pretty new to poe (this is my 2nd char lvl 70+ :D) and i want to say a huge thanks to OP since this build guide helped me alot getting into the game with a good and enjoying char :)
