I have a question about ascendancy classes. Why Deadeye ascendancy isn't mentioned at all ?
Is it not viable for this build ?
It seems interesting option from my newbie point of view.

Not sure why deadeye is not a part of guide.
My own experience with deadeye is that you will eventually hit the wall dying all the time since this ascendancy offers zero defence and utility.
I switched to Raider, it dropped my dps a little, but gave me a solid utility and defence. Phasing with evasion and dodge flasks makes me almost able to facetank.

curse of hit set up doesnt proc a curse? cool build so far and why did you put skill points into claws nodes?

Curse on hit requres a curse to be linked to it and any attack skill which will apply the curse.
Claw nods are taken because ut gets converted into bow nods using Lionseye's fall jewel

In this case you may take Void nods. In case if gear offers enough life and mana leech you can grab aspect of eagle and aspect of lynx.

Thanks a ton for the tips! Pumped 5 points into the Void cluster, and It's helping out quite a bit! (I don't have any leech on my gear yet=)

You really need to update your guide ASAP to support your ES/CI skilltree.
I put points in thinking I would be able to switch life for ES, but it seems like an entirely different build and now I cannot play on my account.
PLEASE UPDATE ASAP SO I CAN PLAY THE GAME.

So I too was having lots of mana issues as well as getting stomped because if I got hit I couldn't heal back up in time. I took vaal pact + the claw cluster BEFORE getting the lioneye gem anyway for the leech. It was night and day difference. No more mana issues at all and if I got hit I would heal back right away. When I got the gem the crit it added was immediately noticeable.

I would take it if you can afford instead of taking the other clusters and wasting the respect points but that's me.

The build is really coming together (got a lucky first time ever 6 link drop without needing to make one) and is amazing. Every time I get to higher tier stuff and start having trouble keeping up I just get another piece of the recommended upgrade gear and the extra dmg I do compensates everything and heals me faster. It's a really great build - the fastest destroyer I've played thus far.


EDIT: Also stupid question but for Blast Rain on the link he has a green CONC gem that isn't in his list of what they stand for. I'm almost positive it stands for concentrated effect gem, which is blue. Am I correct? Having issues getting the perfect color combo for it.

I wanna buy lioneye's fall jewel but i gotta be like lvl 88 to have all the points. Is it worth replacing some talent points for the claw section+jewel?

That's what I did because I wanted the extra crit + life leech badly. I dropped the minor life nodes at the ends of some of the stuff. I most certainly did not regret it at all - night and day difference in survival and dmg all around.

I recommend reading what he says in his guide. This is what he says about ascendancy classes:

ASCENDANCY CLASSES:

Note that there is NO best class. Different classes are tuned for different tasks, playstyles and gear levels.

- Pathfinder - free poison, pseudo-bleed immunity, high speed
- Assassin - high crit, auto power charge generation, insane poison
- Raider - high speed and decent utility

Those are our 3 options. Champion and Trickster also work, but I think those options are weak
