I switched a bunch of stuff around per suggestions (my god tornado shot). I didn't like it at first because LA clears stuff so crazy quick (if it crits) but it more then makes up for it with the single target boost so i'm sticking with it. I FINALLY got my last trial needed in maps and completed uber last night and got Avatar of the Veil. I was dumb and never did raider so I hadn't known that I should take that before the frenzy node but that + queen has helped a ton.
I still get absolutely brutally destroyed sometimes but i'm thinking it's because i'm just not used to playing a ranged class. Every class I've played in the month or so I've been playing has been some sort of melee heavy leech / high health or a summoner where you run around and minions destroy everything for you while you collect loot. I think I just need to be even more mobile then I currently am and anticipate oh sh!t moments. As it stands right now if some things get close to me it's 1-hit chunk - cast blink arrow - retry options appear as soon as I blink away because they hit me during the delay again. " TS really feels bad in the beginning since attack speed is pretty low and initially LA prevails but as atack speed grows initial TS projectile hits hard very often and multiple secondary projectiles tear packs apart. TS has few great advantages that are off-screen clear and you can shoot using TS around the corner.Reach of the Council improves TS potency by removing GMP damage loss and freeing 1 socket.If you get legacy Council than you are one lucky bastard) Few improvements to you char. Place hatred into isolated socket in chest. Instead of Hatred in gloves put temporal chains. Get rid of WED and golem in helmet.Take vaal grace and vaal haste-activate these in the moment of dire need. Instead of Herald of ice use LA to spread curse. Since Vaal haste from boots transfered into helmet place here GMP You can try Signal fire quiver, it will give a solid DPS boost, but aware that Signal fire +hatred=100% elemental damage-in this case you need to find a way to cut boss's resistances or overdamage it. I have problem with max frenzy charges.
I got 2 (Fervour, Svagery) + 1 max frenzy nodes selected, and my char screen says that only one is working (since only 0/5 is displayed on my character screen) Anyone has idea what I'm doing wrong? |

I have been using TS and just got lucky and found I dropped gmp out of my five link armor to take up peirce instead. I'm wondering though now if TS is the best choice to use for clearing maps, or now with this bow is there a better skill suited for it

Why does the build take Chaos Inoculation? I'm new, but doesn't that make stacking life useless?

If you read carefully, you'll see that there are 2 skill trees; the CI one is experimental and most of the rest of the guide is focused around the other one.
Real men play HC with Chaos Inoculation and Eldritch Battery.

When would you suggest putting that point in CI? At what ES or other passive point?

Hi guys,
What are some alternatives for (DoT) single target on SSF HC against the leagues many erratically moving mobs? I'm going to give the puncture trap a try, but more ideas are welcome. I'm struggling to enjoy the build because of all the league stone content. So many warbands/exiles/invasion/breach etc bosses that move all over the place. Facetank-leeching is out of the question against many of them because I'm on HC. Any tips? I'm somewhat out of the loop with new(er) gems etc, maybe there's some good alternatives I don't know about. You can check my profile for the character. I've just started mapping. tl;dr didnt check league, rolled this build, it's a boring kitefest for (SSF) HC, any good single target ideas?
