Is anyone able to reliably clear map bosses with medium to difficult mods? I can't find a good solution for single target with the low survivability. May be best to just ignore them.
I went for the LA/ele-deadeye scion build and have big problems with bosses. 4L barrage seems to not hit the boss on high range and I need to get in melee somewhat. Also, the dps seems abysmal.

For raider tornado shot build, which ascendancy nodes do you guys suggest?
Also, what is best way/skill to level with once blast rain and tornado shot are available?

Ascendancy in Order:
- Way of the Poacher
- Quartz Infusion
- Avatar of the Veil
- Avatar of the Slaughter

My experience was to use:
Tornado Shot + Lesser/Greater Multiple Projectiles + Physical Projectile Attack Damage + Faster Attacks + Physical to Lightning + Weapon Elemental Damage
Hatred
Cast When Damage Taken + Immortal Call/Temporal Chains

I would say just level other skills in your off hand.
Find 4-5 link chest for Tornado Shot. Keep upgrading your Bow for highest Physical Damage until crit is useful, then do crit bow. Use boots for movement speed. Use the rest of your slots for Resists and Life.

Should be able to do self-found for all gear. May be useful to purchase a 4 or 5 link chest though if you can't find one.

Any thoughts on the other issues with the guide that are being brought up?

-Mana issues - Guide mentions taking Spirit Void but the included trees don't have it
-Vaal Pact is taken without any leech nodes to support it

It looks like he is relying on one Mana Leech node for .4% and mentions more mana leech being an option in the Jewels section. With leech nodes they are bad until you get better damage since it's scaling.

We get .4% life leech from Blood Drinker. So far this has worked for me, but I'm not in maps yet so I would take people's opinion that are further along than me. More life leech is obtainable from jewels as well.

I would say that the issues with this build are fixable. So don't fret that the build is broken or anything.

Honestly, it feels like the guide itself is a mix of updated and un-updated sections.

If I have time, I may Path of Build it to see if something like dropping Heavy Draw for Lionseye + Soul Raker would be worth it.
I'm currently doing the 'Build 2 Ele-Eye.' The included skill tree is labeled for the Assassin but would it be the same for Deadeye? Also curious if using the Rearguard quiver is a good option for hardcore, or if the DPS from The Signal Fire is worth the defense loss.

*Forgot that Acrobatics would nullify Rearguard. I change my question to if a good rare quiver would be better for hardcore than The Signal Fire.

Quick heads-up, for the Scion build you guys better go with Ele + Raider instead of Ele + Deadeye.

Projectile pierce is quite useless with LA, and is completely useless with Barrage.
Projectile speed is meh.
Projectile damage as they travel further is pointless since you'll be in melee range with Barrage (and you should get Point Blank once stuffed)
Skills fire an additional projectile is also meh. You'll fire 1 arrow (base) + 3 (barrage) + 2 (helmet enchant) + 1 (corrupted quiver) + 1 (deadeye). Going from 7 to 8 arrows isn't a great DPS gain.

Raider will give you :
Movement speed, a decent utility stat
4% dodge, more survivability
Onslaught + frenzy charges against bosses / rares = a shit ton of DPS.

Also don't link your LA gem with phys to lightning. You should be using the signal fire quiver to get to the 100% ele conversion.

Also, one mana leech node is enough once you are 66+ and use lioneye's glare.

My tree at level 80

I'll probably remove one or two life leech nodes later. Next goal is to get my last ascendancy and to get more survivability from the ranger tree.

For those having mana issues, I would say that you should consider picking up a better bow (most likely). I used a Death's Harp that I picked up for 1c early in the league all the way up to lvl 66 and had 0 mana issues with just the one mana leech node and a 4L LA(and some 4L TS).
