The scion life wheel version has great survivability, however for 74-75+ maps you need Lightning Coil/Grace or trust yourself to never get hit by any big physical hit. Sitting at 5250 health and 47% evasion chance with Coil. Running Grace + Hatred since I geared for enough lightning res to counter the -60 from Coil.

The best tip in the guide for me personally for handling Atziri, particularly clone phase, is to KEEP MOVING so your moving even when flameblast starts up so no need for reaction time (something I'm bad at personally)! Only stop (preferably outside the other types of attacks too) once you're out of the flameblast radius, to attack a couple times (I used puncture only in this phase), start moving again before the next flameblast is up. And of course don't target the mirror Atziri.

Note I haven't done Atziri since the 1.3 patch so not sure how much harder it is now with the puncture smackdown.

To add to cdchi1's advice, you don't target the mirror Atziri, but you also need to make sure that you won't hit her if you *miss* your main target (we tend to have low accuracy), or if you pierce your main target, etc. I had several quite hilarious OMG deaths due to that.

I have a question about Piercing shots. In the build, it seems to indicate that its a good node to take if you have a drillneck. However, if you have the pierce gem 20/20, then that's 74% pierce. With the drillneck's +10% pierce, your total is already at 84%. I believe the max pierce you can have is 100%, so going over does not increase the drillneck's damage (at least according to this post: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/915852). Thus the Piercing Shots only gives you 16% projectile damage and 16% pierce. Is this worth using 4 skill points for? It does not seem like it's really worth it but maybe I'm missing something. I could understand getting it if your pierce gem isn't 20/20, but once it is it seems rather weak compared to other options.

For a bow, favor crit chance over speed. Going from 5% base crit chance to let's say 8.5% will give you an additional 10-15% crit chance, it is HUGE. I have 8.8k dps on TS, I don't need to attack quickly, if I attack and crit, things go boom and everything on screen dies (with help of Heralds). Granted I'm only doing level 69 maps because sustaining a map pool playing solo is awful. I do the same when I get level 72-73 Zana missions. Everything but rares are 1 shot.

And to answer some questions previously from hardcore players, this is definitely usable in hardcore. I'm on softcore, but I have 0 deaths so far, currently level 83, and I'm not stacking life or playing carefully. I go into double reflect maps and laugh my way to the boss. Did a level 72 double reflect map with 4.1k hp, no coil or other defense mechanisms. I don't even use pots, I forget which ones I have and what they do all the time. This is with hatred and double heralds, not grace.

I assume that by now you've killed Atziri in Torment. I still haven't tried her on Standard :'(

Since burning arrow doesn't do a whole lot against her, what do you recommend for single target damage? I have level 19 puncture, level 18 burning arrow and level 18 ice shot to play around with (or I'll buy whatever else could be best but I don't know what).

Is it doable with 4.1k hp, 17k puncture/ 8.8k TS, like 9000 evasion and only capped resists? (meaning, 75/75/75 as I'm not running purities, maybe I should?)

Any tips would be appreciated since I only have 2 midnights from the 120 runs I did last night and would prefer not to ruin them.

Is it worth picking phys dmg nodes to the left of coordination in shadow starting area? its not mentioned anywhere in the build so im wondering..its not bow dmg, those are not recommended as i read, but how about pure phys?

also..is it normal that im 73 lvl using and got only 1780 dps on tornado and 5500 dps ice shot?

Yeah..first your still running a 4l with a crap gem ( faster projectile ) if you would have read the thread you would have saw not to use that gem at all for better dps. Use Add fire damage or something of the sort. Also make sure your using Hatred aura and Herald of ash at the least...those really helps with dps. A 5l armor only cost 3-5chaos so invest on that ASAP. Then with 15-20chaos you can possible get a 300dps bow ..don't mind the crit chance just go with what you can get budget wise. Ive gotten a 330pdps bow with5 % crit...still doing really fine. average dps at lvl 75 with no charge is 8k. That's split/chain so unsure how much tornado/gmp would be but probably like 7-8k.

ALSO that quiver is horrible...HORRIBLE.. You want something like this ..crit chance..more crit chance and crit multi.rest is pure fantasy. That quiver cost me 3chaos.

So 1 : get a 5l armor...
2: Invest in a better quiver..3chaos is nothing. that's like 30min play if you map.
3: Change your faster projectile for added fire damage see that's 20% more damage at lvl1!!!!
4 well..get a 300pdps + bow and/or rat nest helm
