Now you just need to translate each line into its respective language. Which may or may not make much sense since people going into the thread probably understand a degree of English anyways.

" A great idea but not easy to implement. The fonts alone may be a problem. Additionally some languages use multiple script forms such as Japanese and Chinese, requiring the O.P. to make a choice, i.e. do I use simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese or Pinyin in the case of any group intended for those with a Chinese cultural base. Taking a wild guess may also lead to difficulties. Let me tell you a (true) story. Many (many) years ago when I was first confined to a university one of the local cafe proprieters in the area decided he would make his eatery more appealing to the growing population of international students. Being a man who had travelled he knew the importance of being able to locate a toilet. He therefoore inscribed on the restroom doors the words 'men' and 'women' in as many languages as possible. A thoughtful gesture. Unfortunately, being a third generation Australian he spoke no Asian languages but while passing through an inner city area he noticed a smashed wooden crate which had been stencilled with Chinese characters. He quickly copied them and applied them to the door in the hope that if he couldn't understand them nor would most of his cosmopolitan clientele. Besides, they made the place look classy! A couple of days later a group from Taiwan attended the university for a function and afterwards repaired to the cafe for lunch. One of them visited the 'smallest room' (some lecturers used to affect me the same way) and returned convulsed with mirth. He spoke rapidly to his colleaagues in Manadarin and the entire group left to inspect the door. They returned amid much laughter. The mystified proprietor asked one of them if there was any problem and was reassured that there was not. On admitting his 'mistake' and asking for a translation of the characters he found that he had painted on thhe door the words... 'Chinese Relief' Last edited by Eggy#1161 on Feb 8, 2013, 3:56:01 PM

" Isn´t necessary in my opinion. This is the official forum, and PoE comes from New Zealand --> English! :-) I can say in my case, that we have a lot of threats in different german forums in german, and a first fanforum especially for PoE. So we already have a big local community. I´m sure it´s the same in other countries. EDIT: Two Fanforums... :-D http://www.poe-fans.de/ http://www.poe-forum.de/index.php?page=Index Große deutsche Community mit TS, Forum und Infos gesucht? -> http://www.exiled.eu/ Last edited by Cowboy28#2353 on Feb 10, 2013, 2:37:04 PM

" G'day, I would like to point out that I totally agree with, Cowboy28 in regards to this matter. There is no need for having nationality specific forums. In my opinion it would cause splits among the community and would also lead to unnecessary confusion. Especially among "English-only-speakers". Regards. Please, don't comment on patch notes asking the developers or moderators why they haven't fixed something yet. It doesn't help anyone, especially not the developers or moderators who are clearly still working on whatever it is you want fixed or changed, whether it be in-game or otherwise.

日本のコーナー?
Ya, Japanese just can't seem to get into Western style (a)RPGs. Fair enough, i can't play JRPGs anymore, they just all seem so damn similar. |

What about Chinese?
