Mob silence curse

Please remove it. Having your spell based character not able to do anything for 10 seconds is just irritating. There's nothing interesting or unique, design wise, with this in the game.

Yeah, warding flask can remove this curse, but this is the only curse that outright prevents you from playing the game. All other just make you continue playing with a certain debuff. The only thing similar to this is freeze boxes, but that lasts like 4-5 seconds, and having unfreeze on flask is not unusual.

Imagine having a melee character not able to attack for 10 seconds.

Lol you dont play casters eh? your comment reflects it very much. If there to not remove it from the game entirely i beg ggg to make it "unable to use attacks", im sick of this curse, and having people who play attack based chars telling me to "just get a flask" , it belongs in a moba game, and its duration is WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFF.

You should nuke them from afar. Doesn't sound too bad.

Isn't this only cast by hexfont? To which you would be warding anyway, I do on attack and spell characters the same.

Edit: And random curse boxes, but the same applies.

I haven't played against it (obv) but conceptually it does not sound like a bad idea. 10s is way too long though. If it were, say 2-3s, that's enough time for the debuff to be potentially fatal without being obtrusive or cumbersome, and it would beg the question whether or not to ward against it rather than outright require it.

On a similar note, a curse that does nothing but "removes all buffs and debuffs when duration expires" would be a more appropriate use of "warding or gtfo." But 10s of doing absolutely nothing sounds absurdly obnoxious. Warding or gtfo.... Isn't that we we lost Phase Run?

I would love to cast that shit on monsters and see how they like it. Atziri especially.

Isn't that a player error? I almost never have a warding flask on me, but when i see hexfont i just wait for silence and then kill it after it overwrites the curse.

It's in reality a 1 second silence if you counter-play it imo.

That's a good concept imo, it would also strengthen the "utilize flasks" mentality that some players seem to lack or not comprehend. Aldo my belt's are pretty much already covered atm, i usually only have 1 slot for a health potion already. (hp + 3x resis + defensive potions)

The only thing lackluster about potions atm is surgeons i think.

Instead of removing silence curse why don't you also give it to us, to players use GGG?
