I can think of a lot better characters to play HC. You do realize jumping into packs is inherently dangerous right? Life crit no go. because first nemesis refelct allies patch you lightning warp into, forgot to lightning flask, crit on high side of lightning warps wild dam variance you will one shot 4500 points. CI doesnt have that problem since has almost twice the HP.

" Thanks for all info. Jumping into the packs doesn't completely scare me, ive played tons of hardcore so I know there are better builds but I want different not better haha. I see what you mean about CI having enough hp to not be one shotted. I think what I will attempt to do until I get max gear is find a way to have enough mana regen for the skill so I don't need the auto curse. Atleast till I get max gear. Maybe that will make it more hardcore viable since I wont be jumping into packs. |

How much more survivability do you think there is with the CI build in HC?
I've played a few level 85ish dual spark totem HC CI builds back in the days when a low life shav's build was really good and I was paper thin even with 8k ES. I'm only level 42 with this build as a Templar, but it seems like maybe the Witch is a better character for CI. You'd gain a few % more spell damage. |

I was wondering if you could add a "recommended leveling gear" section, i am new to PoE so i actually dont have much knowledge of what equipment/weapon to look for and at what levels etc, it is the number one thing that kept me away from the game until now.
Something like "level 20 recommendations" "level 40 recommendations" etc with blue/yellow items would be great :) Enjoying your guide, looks great. |

" Ill let u know.:P In theory has almost twice EHP at end game as life based should be way better. I would also slot LL gem all the time for 4% total instant leech. Issue is cost ofc. Must have 6L chest to support AOE gem and chest with 700 ES as well as ES crit jewery and other high ES es gears. Looking at 100-150EX for GG. Git R Dun!
