Seriously? CoC cooldown from 0.01 to 0.05? Have you really thought this through?

This means barrage CoC (without GMP or chain) will be pretty much rate-limited after around 0.5 sec attack time. That's just ridiculous.

I mean, how necessary was it to nerf this kind of build to 80% less effectiveness? Especially when rainbownuking mjölners are still unlimited? I don't get it.

Btw Mark, any chance we can get some more information on how the new gems scale and interact with other gems before launch?

Might have been explained and I missed it, if so anyone feel free to point me in the right direction

Adapt to the nerfs, build something that isn't FOTM or crit block or flameblast prolif.
Play the friggin game. It's not supposed to be on autopilot.

Favorite change is going to be the counter gems. Shield charge+facebreaker+shield counter+CoH+punishment with any of various melee skills and CoMK+Detonate Dead would be so incredibly fun.

I have made many successful melee builds that rely exactly 0% on block, ever. Melee is not dead, easymode melee is.

i agree with all the changes except for 2.

The Anvil - block reduction? I feel like if anything this needs a block increase!
Not being able to use good amulets that supply Leech, crit, crit multi, cast speed/spelldmg/flat damage on top of lazhwar.

The bringer of rain nerf is quite harsh. 15%to 6%? What??? maybe 10% or just leave it alone. Aegis aurora has suffered enough! Good thing that guy doesn't play the game anymore lol.

Agreed. The anvil already has such hefty downsides, this pushes it to the point that there are few reasons to ever justify using it. I always want to use it but penalties are just too harsh even pre-nerf.

While I think many items needed to be changed, a few of the unique changes are absolutely pushing trash tier now.

It was strange to see them create so many legacy items right before a focus on PvP. I suppose they want to cause a frenzy.

In the end, all towards the goal of the game actually being a challenge again.

With all the low level item nerfs the pvp Season 1 is just a reward for those who are already pvp rather than something that new PVPers can expect to reasonably compete in. I think its a bit odd that there's any sort of competitive event that brings in legacy items in this large quantity, including the uniques that just got nerfed, base stats on shields, previous years worth of legacy items, and even people who have Multimod LLD crafted items that can't be done anymore. I was very excited to START pvping in season one, but now it looks like if I want to actually compete I need to wait until season 2 becuause I didn't start pvping a year ago.
CharanJaydemyr:some people need to really rethink how they spend their money....I will trash this item if I ever find it on principle...I've seen much cleverer "troll" items get turned down, so I guess GGG gave up trying to enforce that one. Not GGG's finest hour.

Exactly, people just want the easy-mode melee and they dont understand how good no-block melee builds really are cause they dont want to have to think when they use a character.
Thats what all these pople are crying over, cause now they actually have to think about what they are doing instead of just rushing in blindly.
