As for PvP changes, I'm not interested. Never played PvP before, not about to start.

I actually have to agree.
I remember GGG once stated they would never balance the game towards pvp. I don't know what this patch is but a lot of the changes are for pvp only. I hope the pvp players (like a minority, probably less than HC players) are happy now and GGG can focus on what really matters : pve. It's a ARPG ffs. I don't get it, if you REALLY like PvP why are you even playing this kind of game? There are tons of games that focus on what you like.

Yeah... let's remove crit multiplier at all. You halved multiplier once, now you do the same with gem? pfff...

Oh and let's nerf all melee classes and keep all magic/range classes as strong as it was. That's what you call balance? You should try to play this game from time to time or at least watch some lives.

And one more tip fix goddamed lags, fps drops and desyncs.
Well balance changes are nice, but there is NOTHING I MEAN NOTHING in this patch to say omg I have to play this right now.

I am fine with most of the nerfs, other than the complete freakin gutting of block, I mean it's not even worth trying to spend that many pts into trying to get a good amount of block. On top of it you nerfed AA, cloak of defiance. What exactly should a person look towards for defense as a caster now? You also nerfed evasion in ways as well which I thought was in a good decent sweet spot. You seem to want to force players to go to the red side of the tree now just because with no real benefit to be honest to go there. So I see a game where people will be dieing a lot more with no rewards for it because defenses where basically gutted. I know players play this type of different reasons, I personally play to kill shit for a chance and good loot drops. If I have to spend a great deal of time dead, or trying to kill the game becomes worthless to me personally. The drop rates for anything decent is already hair pulling slow and close to stupid. Only reason there is as much currency in the game is due to bots farming it up to place into the trading market.

I would of been way more accepting of all the nerfs if you would of at least FIXED worthless gems sitting around for how long now not being used by anybody or very few. At least giving something back while taking away is at least a moral booster for the game.

Bottom line is, this kind of patch doesn't scream to me to whip out my credit card and donate. I will play the new league and see how it goes, but with defense being gutted so much I don't see myself enjoying this game as much if I am running for my life the whole time.

This of course is my personal opinion and take it what is worth.

You taketh but not giveth anything in return is the theme of this patch.

After review this update, I have to say, the 1.3.0 update has affected the game foundation ---PVE.
I don't know whether GGG remember the game player why they love this game,as the Chinese player,we have been
played with Game Company for a lot of time,we find the POE as a clear spring so we love it.
Now look at the update notes.it is Path Of Nerfs. How can we continue playing, some player just has one or to two build,why GGG use PVP as reason to impact the PVE?

We just want to Play PVE !!!!!!!
do you know the Chinese say "shuang",it means "killing awesome",we want to play "shuang",
some player want to play PVP,you can create another mod or league .
Now GGG want to balance the PVP and PVE , please don't let the core player quit.
Yeah nerf acuity and leave bow destroying content, nice logic, 5 ex builds faceroll stuff while a 500 ex builds are getting nerfed non stop...
