LS Traps damage shown is average damage per hit, not DPS, that's why the number looks really low compared to what it actually deals. Can't think of any skill that would be better to use in this case, you may still get the 10% Trap Throwing Speed the support gems gives, if not then either reroll, sell or just ignore it for now.

The real cost of that belt is getting two proper jewels, and the opportunity cost of losing another resistance slot, unless you have some on said jewels.

In addition to what the others said, i'd just like to go more into detail about this a little bit.In general, each jewel type has their pros and cons.

Regular jewels have more mobility-related affixes and increased damage% modifiers, of which all except for Spell Damage% also buff our Inpulsa explosions. This is great to take out rares/bosses right with the pack they spawned in, most notably in Delves or Beyond maps. The downside is that increased damage% (=additive) modifiers get less effective the more total increased damage% you have, which for example is also the reason why Wand/Sceptre implicits aren't as impactful for us as they seem.

Abyss jewels mainly have flat damage modifiers, which are added directly to base damage before all multipliers, but are also affected by damage effectiveness. This means in our case, you only get 80% of the value added to Arc and 70% to LS Trap. In a normal setup for this build, a T3 added flat damage mod is about equal to an increased damage% modifier on regular jewels, which have no affix tiers. Another pro for Abyss jewels is that they can roll Shock Effect, which is a 2% more damage multiplier (=multiplicative) for us until we reach 150% total.

The jewel you've linked is really good for this build, i'd just try to divine until both attack speed modifiers are at max value, if you can afford to do so.

Might be time to invest into a 6L rare or Shroud of the Lightless, can't see anything else wrong with your char. If you check out my SSF Synthesis char, i've done both red Elder and Mastermind with it so it should be possible with yours too. Maybe try out some different Pantheons for those fights.

Gear is overall fairly good, Inpulsa would be a good upgrade now. Besides that, try to roll the right flask affixes and farm a boot enchant, also upgrade Pantheon if you haven't yet. Also get towards Written in Blood asap, the 0.4% Es leech you took in Ethereal Feast is also not needed.

Only ilvl84 and Shaped is needed for the affixes we want. Sorcerer Gloves are significantly cheaper (30c vs. 10ex) and give a bit more ES.

It's a good idea, the issues I have with it are that it takes away what i'm intended with the "How to look for & buy Gear" Miniguide, which is learning how to look for specific things, and that some scummy people would eventually take advantage and just buy up all cheap stuff to resell it for more.

Congrats! Yeah i'd annul the second dagger despite that T2 Ele as Chaos, could possibly open up a different suffix choice than 5% double damage chance on the other dagger or at the very least sell the craftable base.
