Unrelated to this, i'm really sorry for my inactivity in this thread recently. Life's been busy and i'm burnt out from doing this for years. Thanks to everyone who takes their time to answer questions!

Im essentially a brand new player (played back in beta then stopped). Im still following this guide but I have a question regarding the passive Minion Damage and Lord of the Dead. Why not pick up the two Spell Critical Strike Chance instead? Are traps considered minions?

We're picking up Spiritual Aid later, which applies "Minions deal #% increased Damage" to us.

Hey guys, I just started playing PoE for the first time ever on PS4 about a month ago and started playing this build. I feel like I've hit a wall on harder content as I'm not really familiar with crafting high end gear. Bosses seem to melt me (doesn't help that PS4 is insanely laggy sometimes) Can somebody look at my build and tell me where I can start improving things? Thanks guys!

I've seen the Enki arc witch upgrade order tutorial, And yes I know I should get a 5L and some better daggers, but I have no Idea where and how and what content should I play rn to get them.

Make your characters visible in your privacy settings, otherwise we can't help you.

Generally, you'll need currency/orbs to buy/craft stuff or hope that the right stuff drops right away (which is highly unlikely). So you'll have to farm.

Have a look at the Chaos Orb vendor recipe for example. Farm rare item sets. Vendor them for Chaos orbs. Then buy gear from other players that you need for these chaos orbs.

Level up skill gems in your secondary weapons that you can sell to other players.

Keep looking out for stuff that might not be good for your build, but still valuable for others and sell that.

Maybe farm areas that have a chance to drop certain valuable divination cards. Do your prophecies or sell certain prophecies. Do some delving. Search for fossils and currency nodes there and jewelry nodes for your chaos recipe.

Etc. etc.

I've played it but I kinda lack dmg and defence. I don't really know what I need. I have also a Tabula, but is on another character I leveled.

I last played in delve league and this guide easily took me from level 1 with 0 currency to a stacked endgame witch that easily killed shaper and farmed crazy t16 maps all day pretty much, never got to try uber elder but am sure it would atleast be doable with some kaom roots and some gearswaps etc,


so to Enki just want to say build is 11 of 10 :P atleast it was in delve and im sure its great now aswell!



Now I have a problem though, I returned to PoE today and wanted to take my witch out for a spin in some maps in standard and mess around a little bit etc, but ofcourse my passive tree has been reset and im not sure really how to restore it back to delve-league status or atleast as close as possible, is it even possible or has things changed so much I would have to change gear / skills aswell?


If someone could perhaps take a look at my witch in standard, lvl 97 and name is "arcwitch_invicta" and based on the gear she has, link me a PoB or a tree with something that would be a good choice for this version of the game if possible?


even if its not as good as it was or suboptimal thats fine, just want to take her out for a spin basically :D , also if someone has some screenshot or tree from the old version of the build back in delve that I could try to copy or atleast as close as possible that would be very cool aswell,


either way, I will soon make a new witch based on the new guide, my only final question is do you guys think its possible/viable to go full CI with this build or arc elementalist in general with new skill gems such as energy leech and the new tree etc? even if its not as strong it was always my dream back in delve league to have a CI version of this build with some good form of sustain or ES leech,

Really enjoying this build, thank you very much Enki, just wondering as ive just purchased a Shroud of the Lightless, which gems should i have in it ideally? Since it's 5L with ele penetration, do i still need lightning penetration? Should i take out hypothermia for unleash?

Currently have in it Arc/spell echo/lightning penetration/energy leech/hypopthermia.

take your time. its not your job to tell people for the 52. time why we do take spiritual aid. i think i am speaking for everyone when i say it would be a pity if you would not have the motivation to make a viable 3.7 version when the time comes.

I've defeated Shaper guardians for the first time with this.

For Shaper himself how much DPS and whatever preparations I would need to be able to defeat him without too much difficulty?

I'm in progress to make my own dagger, I have the base, but I still have to go for the prophecy and also alting for the right mod.
