I landed these affixes on a 6L staff, and I am not sure what to do with it. The regal was kind of unlucky with the cold damage but was wondering if this could still be good. Maybe multicraft and add flat lightning to spells and % spell damage from the crafting bench? Not sure if it would worth the 2 ex though... If not, I will scour it and keep spamming. |

" So you ran into the same problem I have. I've gotten 20 watchstones at this point, but it's been a struggle and a bit disheartening to see other builds kill the boss so quickly. Though, I will say that snake-boi is stupid easy with the 30% movement speed of Doryani's boots since you can just outrun all the snake bolts when he's teleporting around. @Enki, I think the build needs a revision to have some sort of single target damage on an off-weapon slot if that's possible. From what I've seen, in previous leagues, bossing wasn't a requirement and usually builds were delegated to bossing and mapping. My gear at the moment.. Im very happy with this build this far but im leaking single target dmg sooo hard.. Cant kill any Uber bosses or the awakener or whatever :( Anybody know how to boost my Singletarget dps? Everything else is melting tho |

I'm doing really well with this build, and also went all-in. Melting most of stuff except bosses and still got alot upgrades to do.
Finally crafted a decent staff, end up costing me like 10 ex since the damn 'prefixes cant be changed' got annuled 3 times -_- Currently trying to 6-link a Queens Hunger, want to test that out. Arc is at lvl 26 now with empower lvl 3. Great guide and great build, took some time to get it all together, but it works. Hey, I've been following this guide for the new league. Just wondering if you know why is it when I change my staff from the Agnerod West to the Duskdawn my total DPS (calculated by PoB) drops by 50%?

Can someone help me with the build? I can clear most maps with this gear. But what im unhappy about is seeing my dps sitting at 68k despite having 2 6L gear. .__. This is my gear.

" Don't worry, I'll do that just as I did for the past few years this build exists, but not within the major patch cycle. It takes lots of analyzing feedback and testing around to see why people have issues me and some others don't seem to have, and what can be done to improve. Another point is game balance, which normally only happens during major patches. I think the games current approach hurt true build diversity more than anything. And lets not even talk about the horrible state Elementalist is in. If we wouldn't need atleast a 5L for buffs that still can die or heavily invest into a stat we normally wouldn't, just to still gain overall mediocre stuff compared to some other ascendancies then this build would be in a better state in relation to game balance. Only thing I can do for now is explaining some parts better, which i'll do in a few days, the bigger part is up to GGG here. -----------

Your ES is on the lower side, could also try out Soul Tether with ES% corruption. The staff is also not very helpful, offense is good defense too. If you're on a lower budget, look for one of the non-West Agnerods, they're usually cheap as 6L.

Pretty risky to annul, i'd probably just put Spell Dmg or DD while Focussed and use it as is. I'm going to work on a few basic crafting goals for the next update.

Farming a boot enchant would be the first step. You also want the Shock nearby enemies while Focussed suffix on a ring. Other than that, mostly good jewels and a Watcher's Eye, which I can't see if you have it already.

Duskdawn has mostly conditional damage stats, which you need to activate in the configuration tab first.

You can ignore tooltip DPS, it's pretty useless in this game. You're dealing much more than 68k damage. Next things you should do is get a good DPS amulet, a ring with Assassin's Mark on Hit and one with an open suffix to craft Shock nearby enemies while Focussed. Anointment and Boot Enchant help too. Also your gloves should be ES base, it's part of our hitpool.
