Evasion is Worthless in PVP

You guys are missing the simple fact that it's easy to totally ignore evasion. Resolute Technique is an easy grab for both marauder and Templar or use spells (EK etc) or use a Vegan weapon. Do any of the preceding and you penetrate 100% of a players evasion rating. It's simple and widely available.
Therefore many people are using one of the above methods and bypassing evasion 100% of the time. It's way to easy to totally ignore a defensive stat. | |

Yes... And I don't know the existence of weapons that ignore Energy Shield or Armour ;)

There's a little something called chaos damage... and by default armor ignores armors stats. It fuckin blows. Evasion is by far better than armor. You can't really compare either to energy shield because ES is more of a life supply rather than a defensive stat.

It's like suggesting that ES is useless because you can slap on 100 chaos dmg and 1 shot low lifers.

Omg really? When you have Puncture and GG traps at your disposal? I can't count how many times a Ranger around my lvl decimates me unless I can even connect on a Leapslam or Flickr

There is weapon mod (Hits Can't Be Evaded) player will always hit you and most of the time will get crit

Those weapons get much less damage than a full dps weapon, so effectively ur evasion turns into a more powerful armor mitigation. ;)
