Low phys bow has nothing to do with IG

IG doesnt increase your physical damage. It simply makes it so that Strength bonuses to "melee" damage now affect projectiles as well.


I'm not saying they are completely exclusive, but IG is beneficial either way.

It seems really lackluster. If it isn't any better with higher phys, I would totally skip it.

Take a look at your projected end-game strength amount, now mouse over strength and see how much +% damage it adds to their melee physical attacks

With IG, that same % adds to projectiles as well.

Is he going to update the OP with any progression trees at all?

I currently am leveling this as my first hardcore character. I am level 32 and just got Golems Blood. I'm about to hit the health nodes connected to it however, I'm not sure on whether I should rush Blood Magic, ignore IG, and then go up through to the Marauder nodes, and then get RT. Or to get IG then Blood Magic, or maybe just skip IG until late game?

It would just be really nice to see how he progressed since he branches off in different areas. And getting static blows wouldn't be until the late 80's probably?

he got blood magic around 45-50. make sure u hav trolls blood before u take it. after u get BM then go to IG, grab life nodes if more hp regen is needed. after that make ur way thru the left side of the tree.

im using frenzy right now, and it's doing great. But i haven't tried elemental hit, is it good ??

I've been using elemental hit until now (lvl 79), and switched to frenzy just now.
Well, frenzy vastly out dps elemental hit in my case! Even with only 3 charges, I do 5700dps instead of something like 4400 with elemental hit. Plus, the side benefit is that is also improve the dps of your lightning arrow, because of the atk speed, and that's great!

Uh oh, I might have dun goofed. Took blood magic at 36 and now heading for marauder HP nodes, no IR yet.

Haven't had any problems yet but then again I'm only in a3 normal with 1200 life

So, adding Blood Magic as support gem to Lightning Arrow wouldnt work instead of picking up Blood magic? I know that it comes with another 2.0 mana multiplier, but i guess the endgame regeneration might just be enough for it.
I just feel very unhappy about not being able to run more than probably 1 Aura and no Auras like Hatred.

Also, why is Nugi using Lioneye's Glare as weapon? I feel like a very good high level bow with high elemental rolls and good attackspeed would do wayyyyyy more damage for his LA?
I see that its nice that he doesnt have to pick up Resolute if he is using it, but he is 1 point next to RT all the time and i cant see him having specced into ANY crit nodes, so why bother about not criting?
I didnt check it right now, but im pretty sure he picked up that "chance to shock on hit" nodes, which kind of replaces the crits he has to deal for shock stacks. So why did he go for that bow? I dont really understand ;P
