They really really need to just disable hot swapping supports in the field/combat, completely.

This has got to be the stupidest cheese-est way to play the game.

Pretty much what I was thinking. I was so glad that they finally had a strong spell that wasn't based on stacking crit.

Pre-nerf the spell had great single target damage, but the ultra-slow clear speed and nonexistent survivability made it feel like I was using the ability only because it was new.

Now Essence Drain is 100% garbage. Anybody who argues differently is either trolling or hasn't tried it post nerf.

Guess we all go back to our crit-based-one-shot-the-whole-screen builds.

What about if you don't have enough Sockets on your normal gear that you weapon swap to dualwield sword+brightbeaks to whirling blades? Before I got my gear sorted, I was swapping for mobility (since I was using a staff before I switched to Consuming.)

The damage is really high, easily gearable, and the clear speed is probably the fastest I've ever had completely trumping the speed of PA at it's height.. And my ED character is one of the tankiest chars I've ever had. Your argument is invalid. Stop whining, if you don't want to play it, don't; I'm perfectly okay with the way it is and it's still perfectly viable to me, and in my mind one of the best builds right now (everything else looks so drearily SLOW in comparison... ED clear is so FAST and efficient.)

Thats why you see sooo many ED chars in the top of the ladders right? It was decent before, now its garbage.

Maybe its fast compared to what you are used to.
It's a Fix to ruin Essence drain? Shall you remove freeze and Shock aswell to fix Vaal Spark?

cuz doing 60-80k dps isen't really broken when u got best in slot, and this is with 750% inc from ur tree, and other stuff.

Firestorm dmg is allowed to be over 800k tho, no bigdeal

or vaal spark instaclearing maps so fast its not even considered a build, ur just playing god.

in another thread you said your ED char is using IR. I seriously don't know how you go all the way down there in the tree and still have decent damage. those couple projectile damage nodes can't be it.
Hello? Can you hear me? Where is the cyclone fix? You broke the fuck out of it, so why haven't you fixed it yet
My ED build is garbage now. GGG try to kill Atziri or other hard bosses with this skills before nerf.
I still think the fix was required to fix an unintended behaviour of the skill.

The fact that ED's single target damage is too low could be considered a balance issue instead.

Imo, you would have more chance of getting somewhere by asking them to increase the on hit dmg of ED instead.
Am I the only who thinks the Bearers on magic packs are OP? I'm fully capped, have 4k hp and 18k of armour and they still so rippy, it's weird.
