I think juggernaut offers the highest tankyness in game since there is no actual counter for juggernaut's unstoppable skill. Bear traps are hard counter who exploits the power of pathfinders abilities. Nothing stops juggernaut not even bear traps.
Then again, juggernaut doesn't have strong tools like pathfinder when it comes to offense.

Ya I agree rup, the unstoppable node is one of the best nodes for pvp, but juggs definitely don't do as much damage as pathfinder and tend to be weak against shock/elemental/chaos etc

I'm experimenting with this at the moment since one of my guildie dropped it and we all pitched fuse to 6L it and see how it work.

So far it's pretty outstanding in pve (I can facetank every boss in the game who are not using DoT including fully charged Uber Izaro) but doesn't do much in pvp because of the insane elemental penetration level we got now.

As long as the pvp damage formula greatly advantage elemental damages, this armor is sadly useless.

I really can't recommend berserker or chieftain. Berserker the MORE is nice, but you're so squishy. Chieftain is really for totem builds which suck in pvp cuz they die so easily.

Right now, pathfinder is the tankiest class. It's like playing the game with training wheels on.

How funny and logic is when you hear the "archer" pathfinder is the tankiest class right now, even more than a fat marauder or a champion xD.
Could I ask you why is she the tankiest atm ? Cause of the flask regen and the immunity to elemental status while using flask ? Also, do you think they will they nerf her to the next major patch to fix this prob ? Cause it's not the first time I heard pathfinder is the best of pvp...

Juggernaut has a few noteworthy passives for PvP but ultimately the only perk is avoiding slows/freeze. Pathfinder does everything Juggernaut does and then some. Ranger also has a better tree for PvP. It has status avoidance (don't need with Pathfinder), dodges, high evasion, movement speed, also Heart of the oak is one of the best passives in the game. You can start Ranger but travel upward to all the good ES passives or across Duelist/Scion/Marauder to stack life/regen. Even if you chose to play RT instead of Crit its a very solid start given the Ascendancy options and how they benefit you in PvP. Look at the synergy Shin has with max block,max dodge, max movement speed and getting dmg from Scolds cwdt triggers...tell me a Bear Trap is a hard counter to this when all he has to do is leap out of it. Pathfinder is potato mode but don't expect everyone using it to be such a lazy sack of shit they will just run at you instead of have a movement skill that can by pass Bear Trap snares if they don't 1 shot them.

Nature boon won't be touched, master surgeon will be because that's the main pve problem at the moment.

That's what I meant sorry. Thanks Ice. Haven't looked at that ascendancy tree since a month into prophecy.

Sometimes I scare myself of all the knowledge I have about this game. I could have learn to code or analyse and trade on forex instead ^^
