{3.0} Necronomicon / Raise Spectre Monster Info...[The Unofficial Minion Wiki]

Off 3.0.1c patch notes: Lunar Devotees now only summon one Ice Elemental at a time, but these are now tougher and do a more powerful explosion on death.

Doubt these guys were ever considered to be useful to raise in the past, but maybe worth looking into now? Though I got a feeling unless there's some scaling on their Ice Elementals to also work with global minion damage, it won't mean much if anything at all.
Ok, so I have some news on Kitava's Herald, and by extension, maybe something about the problems some of us have with any Act6+ mobs.

Through testing with some guys on reddit we actually found out that the Act 10 version of Kitava's Heralds are bugged in a way that won't let them get added to the Desecration table. Making the whole thing a lottery until you get some Heretic mobs from A5/A10. However, if you raise the Herald from Act 5 instead, it is extremely easy to desecrate Heralds on maps. I already desecrated them on the first try on Shaped Phantasmagoria (T9), Port (T10), Underground River (T10), Shaped Mesa (T10) and Wastelands (T11) and I suspect there are many more maps to come.

So get your Herald from Act 5 instead and you will have a very easy time getting your map-level Heralds! I already submitted a bug report to the forums. Now seeing what is holding the Heralds back, I have the sneaking suspicion that this is what is causing people to have issues with Frost Sentinels as well.

- Fire, Cold, and Lightning Golems now have 70% resistance to their respective element. Chaos Golems now have 60% resistance to Chaos.
- Raise Spectre now grants +30% elemental resistances to its minions.


so rs already starts with 70% all resistances. Other minions starts with 40%. They all have 20% chaoa res at least.

Yes this means with 3 power charges and iCrit support gem, Frost sentinels will have a 72% chance to crit. Add in immortalis + diamond flask and they crit 100% of the time. Essentially turning iCrit into a 130% multiplier. Only problem is getting pcharges on bosses maybe with Malachai's loop.

Yes, with this post and my own findings I think we finally connected the dot. There are some act6+ monsters out there that do not work well with the desecration trick. Kitava's herald from Act 10 is one of those and frost sentinels from act 8.

This is why every time someone mentions they found frost sentinels easily it is because they already summoned a frost sentinel from a map, and those do work with the desecration table.

For those that did find frost sentinels. Which zone did you initially summon them from? Lunaris concourse, Lunaris temple, lunaris temple 2, or habour bridge?

I'm not sure but i'll test these guys again. Normally minions of minions will not get any stats.

Oh damn I totally blanked on the raise spectre gem itself granting ele res lol. Pretty sure spectres where excluded from the "minions have 40% ele res and 20% chaos res" change but I couldn't find a source for it so idk :(

- revamped the minion resistance section.
- Added a few more locations of spectre
- Added additional information regarding frosties, solar guard, fire-eaters

You might be right here. The wording does say "all other minions" and its below the spectre comment. But who really knows when it comes to obscure GiGiGi patch notes lol.

I have been making humanoid low level maps (seems to roll humanoid mor eoften on low tier)

and getting cannibals fire eaters then going into a 13+ map and desing them 100% of the time

my set up has them doing 900k+ dps normal mobs 500k+ boss mobs WITHOUT animate G buffs each

minion on single target

almost 4mil on normal mobs and 2 mil on bosses

Just spanking every boss I find

I toss on GMP instead of slower proj for clearing

This is with shaper/guardian selected on a immortalis belt build with all flasks up. Per minion so roughly 6.7million dps total.

I searched all over part one act 3

and could not find any frostys

seems sarn area in part 1 is still almost exactly the same as in 2.6.0 and same monster types

but not a single frosty in the campaign in part 1

sucks but getting lunar even on low tier maps is horrid

I'd get like 10 humanoid and 15 more variety before I'd see one Lunar fanatics roll

Did you use echo in this setup? I'm still not sure if echo works on fire-eater... (works on PoB)
