I'm hyped that I no longer need to spend money on this game to support it, and can find a new one.

CoC is an expensive build as far as the tree goes, and often leaves you in a weak position defensively.
I don't care if they nerf it, but from where I stand it looks like they broke it. When the patch goes out, I can test on my CoC builds, to see if they are still viable. I don't take issue with it being nerfed, I take issue with it being nerfed for the wrong reasons. They didn't note that it was over powered, and too strong, and it needed to be pulled back. They did mention that the ever increasing speed at which CoC can be used is a problem, a larger cool down than the existing 50ms cool down would certainly be fine. However, they really seemed to focus on the fact that it was computationally expensive for players to use CoC. They nerfed it because their servers couldn't handle something they didn't sufficiently test in worst case scenarios before putting a feature into the game. They didn't take the additional time to introduce additional interesting trigger scenarios, or new trigger setups like Essence Drain Contagion. They just broke a popular game mechanic because they couldn't make it work the way it should. CoC needed a nerf, but the chaos of CoC was what made it so fun. I'm sure its still functional as a support skill, but they did nothing to expand on skill system this expansion, which really makes the nerf of one of my favorite systems that much more disappointing. |

" I'll mention that not everyone is capable of making CoC builds that are broken. My CoC builds always had some severe weaknesses. None of them were even T-13 viable. NONE. I'm curious what tiers I'd be able to reach with my best CoC builds now. |

Because god forbid newer players should have any chance of an effective free form build. Why don't you devs just own your hatred of poverty in any context and just make players pay 5 exa per month to keep their characters from being deleted? Why not just make character classes like you clearly badly want to and force players to choose from them like a damn fighting game? Ohhhh right, because the rich players you are milking for real cash need legions of dead end characters to exploit. I forgot. (As if they even read serf chat.) Never ever made a CoC build as they seemed broken and pure cheese. At least discharge seems viable still. I admit I have the voll's devotion pipe dream though.
