Path of Exile 2.4.0: Atlas of Worlds Patch Notes

The worst part about these patch notes is that Cruel still exists.
Went too far on CoC/Juggs/mjo nerf stuff

Some rough calcs tell me they will all lose about 66-90% of dps.

For example take fakener This is my witch version (bad ass winch)

OLD 2.3 patches = 4.04 IAS x 2 hits per attack on cyclone x 69% proc rate x 88% peak CC x 87,000 max charge DPS = 426826 DPS

New 2.4 patch = 2 procs MAX/s x 100% proc rate x 88% peak CC x 87,000 max charge DPS x 39% more DPS for COC buff x -35% for discharge nerf = 159244 DPS


I cant do calc for my "invincible" RF juggs build because I don't know internal cooldown of mjo yet but it's huge 72% nerf even without knowing and leaving it same.

Multi cast CoC Builds like phys BF/EK/BV, grandslammers and barragers are truly devastated since they can only slot one spell at fraction of proc rate, and thus casting speeds, as before.

You guys should have just eliminated CoC. Now it's good for casting curses thats about it. Self casters and attackers are far superior.

I won't leave because thee are dozens of other OP things I can play to reach end game.. BF mines, traps, most bow, self cast BV, Vortex etc but I thought CoC, mjo, juggs was cool enough to keep it around in some form. Not totally destroy them.

I am not going to read through 100+ pages to see if this has already been said. With this huge of a game change they need to give a free reset on all bandit kill choices as well. We need to be able to completely remake our characters.

Thats optimal meaning full charges every discharge and hit every spin which usually does not even happen. its much much lower than optimal especially on singles.

Considering you can get 300K self cast ice nova yes. BF Mines do 700K. etc

Trust me QQ has not even started yet. Wait till patch actually drops

GGG don t nerf nothing for crying standard players, they need big COC with huge Dps.

Just nerf and apply balance for new fredh league.

Everybody is going to be happy

Chill out, this is just a game, and Coc / Mjolner are not dead, just different.

You can adapt ... or QQ ... or leave ...

PS : comparing the exact same setup for a skill that got reworked is silly.
SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

nice idea, make some of the nerf apply only to temp leagues were there some kind of racing and competition.

and never nerf legacy stuff, coz if takes too long to get one nowdays.
