More than the ex, it's so frustrating to work towards a goal for a year+ only for it to be taken away...

I don't have a ton of time to devote to the game and having a long term goal made me excited to play. Not saying that I'm going to quit, I just don't know how enjoyable I'll find the game if I'm constantly wondering if GGG is going to destroy everything I've worked for. I understand balance changes, but this is just downright insulting.

If you do not know what "Path of Exile" is a MMO, and with each new patch and the game changed on the standard and on leagues, then I have bad news for you... Even the solo game can change dramatically with the new patch, for example - "Pillars of Eternity"...

I think everyone saw a nerf to CoC and Mjolner builds coming, but i'm not sure how many expected it to be this harsh. I can understand how someone might be frustrated by that, but it's nothing to dwell on. I'm happy i got to enjoy the pre-nerf versions of the builds and i'm super pumped to try something new.

So melee is back to being the semi boringish weakish skills again accept for the old skills that became boring to play? Earthquake was fun and unique while it lasted not super strong like other skills but you could at least play mid endgame fairly well. Well it was fun while it lasted i'm just glad that i didn't upgrade my supporter pack to the higher than 50$ tier like i planned to get armour for my eq. As i more than likely won't be playing eq now i imagine. Back to blade vortex i guess if that ain't messed up.


I'll admit when i heard i heard there was suppose to be a big patch this league and rumors of melee being fixed so that it was capable of holding its own with spells and rangers. I didn't expect that all melee skills where going to be brought down to the same weakness. Except for Reave which already was a strong skill even stronger than earth quake when done right. But it got a buff.. I would play Reave but i find its combat boring.

Destroing legacies is destroing a big part of the game.

I like this idea, most of the whining about nerfs seems to be from standard kiddies who just want to have their imbalanced toys and not have to play the actual game. This would keep both the people who want to play the actual game happy, and those who just want a free loot sandbox that is standard.

Im not sure i agree with that as i don't play standard hardly at all, except during the beginning. But since leagues started standards economy was thrown into madness and leagues tend to be more fun anyway as standard is just the same base game over and over and if you've played as long as i have. Its not as fun as it once was (the base game i mean). And i don't agree with a good handful of the nerfs and buffs coming.

Diablo 3 use to nerf everything out the gate at the time when alot of people left, marvel heroes also has been known to go nerf crazy at times. so no real surprise i guess, it seems thats the way every Arpg tends to go. A strategy that appeases the masses rather than its hardcore or semi hardcore fan base. Whatever makes money, Kudos on that one. If it works than it works i spose.


I'm not sure if devilian is doing the same as i haven't had a chance to try it out yet but all of the others have done so. So why not be GGGs turn.

P.S. And by the way... In Russia Garena was not your uber Legacy... There was no support gem Item quantity... A lot of what was not, because we started to play with the patch 2.0.0... And you know, no one complained...

I believe the game is intended for trying all kinds of different builds and not getting all the gear for that OP build and play that for the rest of your PoE life. If a build is (too) strong their only option is to bring it back on par with other builds. Builds can be OP for the duration of a league and people can enjoy that but it's naive to think it will always be like that. Best thing to do is to try a different build every league and enjoy the different mechanics. If you invest all your currency on a build just days before a big expansion you are taking a very big risk and it's not the smartest thing to do..sorry to say.

For everyone that feels conned by GGG... hope you learned the lesson now. Enjoy the game the way it's meant.

118 pages of mjolnir whining and nobody says a thing about

Isn't it a huge nerf to miner builds?
