may i ask if you tested the new support gems? and if you think a full phys version could be better with brutality and all that stuff.
also wondering if it could be worth to go full phys and drop the auras to go blood magic.

56.4% base damage blade flurry *
1.54 concentrated effect *
1.49 Melee Physical damage *
1.59 Bloodlust *
1.15 Herald of Ash * 0.9 (90% confert base phys dmg to elem) = 1.135 *
1.36 Hatred * 0.9 (90% confert base phys dmg to elem) = 1.324 *
1.54 Elemental damage with Attacks * 0.9 (90% confert base phys dmg to elem) = 1.486 *
1.29 extra dmg from Phys to light * 0.9 (90% confert base phys dmg to elem) = 1.261
== 579,4% total base damage Blade Flurry.

Sure without auras and convert u cant doing 500+ total base damage.

I wonder if it is still worth using Abyssus with the 3.0 nerf (down to 100%-125% crit multiplier), but if not Abyssus what then ?

Abyssus still the top hat for this build.
and I know that there are other sources to raise the DPS with new gems

and u recommend it in ur guide with sword in mainhand.

So Doryanis Catalyst would be ur favorite choice with a sword in main hand?
